His legal team argues officers exposed Mr Asiamah to the uncomfortable conditions despite knowing Africans are more susceptible to cold-related conditions, according to court papers which quote a 2009 military study which found soldiers of African origin were 30 times more likely to suffer cold-related injuries than indigenous Europeans.

uncomfortable conditions
Uncomfortable conditions? In the Army? No, it can't possibly be! It hurts my head to say this, but does anybody who volunteers to join any armed force on Earth expect cozy accommodations and comforts?
Africans are more susceptible to cold-related conditions
So Africans are inferior to Whites? How can they possibly say something like this, don't they know that's RACIST!!

What is sickening is that his lawsuit probably has standing.
By the way, I just noticed your sig line. Excellent!

Thanks, although I admit I struggle to see how this lawsuit actually does have any standing at all. Unless there is some written rule somewhere that says your commanding officer has the obligation to try and assign you to the most comfortable place, what could it be?

yes, I agree. It is just that there is such a double standard applied to those who's diversity is so treasured by our modern military. In a real court, such action would die in it's infancy when the judge would declare 'no standing' as they do when one tries to legaly address the illegal theft committed by the IMF through the IRS.
