Only one of my grandmothers was still alive when I was born, and she passed when I was about 8. I used to know all their names, but since I never knew them, it was much like remembering facts out of a book - ask me today to name all of them off the top of my head and I'll admit I can't do it. But then again, it seems I can't remember shit about much anyway... :/ If one has known their grandparents (I assume that's most people) I can't believe the number from the OP is so high.

I am very sorry about your diagnosis. Stage IV CRS* is a huge challenge. LOL

It appears they've lost their identity and they don't know who they are or where they came from, but it's all good - they can rely on the nanny state to provide them with identities. Amirite Fred?

If you knew enough millennials, you'd know these figures are probably not lies.

If you never/rarely met your father, it’s not very likely you’ld know the name of his parents either, likewise if your mom/dad didn’t have much association with her/his father you may not know your grandfathers name either.
Even so some people could easily have found out who there grandparents was if they had any curiosity in them, but for some ignorance is a virtue..

This is the rotten fruit of the promotion of "individualism" and opposition to all forms of "collectivism." The destruction of the natural family is a key element of the Elders' goals.
In the past, even the Blacks knew who daddy was.

My grandma and grandpa on bothsides were named after my mother's maiden and father's last name.
Probably not what the survey wanted as a response.

One of my grandfathers had passed before I was born, so I never met him, and as of right now he's the only one whose name I can't recall.

Who calls their grandparents by name?
Results are skewed, should be 0.02 out of 4

Do you play the banjo?
Not for Swedes who think they know bluegrass.
