I'll admit, while I thought I saw a lot coming down the pipe these last couple of decades, I couldn't have described the current cultural norms. I do believe we're witnessing "THE REVOLUTION" described in 1984... the one that no one in the story seems to have any meaningful recollection of. Two generations from now, will anyone be able to accurately describe what the world was like in the middle of the 20th century? Or, as in 1984, will it even matter?
