Netflix pays a record-breaking $10million for documentary that follows Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the campaign trail

Netflix purchased the documentary Knock Down the House last week
The company paid $10million for the movie rights
It was the largest documentary sale brokered at a film festival
Knock Down the House won the Sundance Festival Favorite award on Thursday
Hulu, Amazon, Focus and NEON also fought for dibs on the documentary
Film follows Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the campaign trail in the midterm elections, along with three other progressive female candidates
