I believe this has been part of the plan all along. This way Trump does nothing meaningful to stop the invasion of our country and many of those who are against illegal immigration are placated, believing that those 'sanctuary cities' are getting what they deserve.

Fact is; they will still be in our country illegally and our country can take little more of this before it ceases to be 'our' country. These so called 'sanctuary cities' will provide points of invasion into the rest of the country. Once these people are here and getting the benefits of our society for free, they will never voluntarily leave. They will out breed us. We will cease to be a nation in short order.
