If you have more than a couple of hundred rounds of ammo then obviously YOU ARE A FUTURE THREAT!

This is the bill. It mentions assessments being done by "mental health service professionals." What percentage of "mental health service professionals" are gun-grabbers?

ETA: I see 'fusion center' defined, yet I don't see it elsewhere in this bill. Additionally, I'm not seeing the nuts and bolts on precisely how they intend to undertake this shit. It's like this bill is incomplete, but definitely an opening round for sure. You can count on 'em to fill in all the blanks later after the bill gets passed. Like Nancy once said, "We have to pass the bill so you can see what's in it."

What percentage of "mental health service professionals" are gun-grabbers?

The same percentage that are incapable of managing their own lives.

Once upon a time the jurisdiction of the United States and the Laws that Congress makes was defined in the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure @ Rule 54(c)

"Act of Congress" includes any act of Congress locally applicable to and in force in the District of Columbia, in Puerto Rico, in a territory or in an insular possession."

But after they blew up the Twin Towers on Sept. 11, 2001 in Dec. 2002 the Supreme Court rewrote the Rules of Federal Criminal Procedure and Rule 54(c) was magically eliminated and we got the Patriot Act, NADA and host of other laws.

I get that they are all the enemy and a fight to end all fights is coming.

It's time to saddle up boys and girls.

This is where the rubber hits the road.

The same percentage that are incapable of managing their own lives.

So you’re saying essentially all of ‘em.

Why this TAPS law would never really work - people change, for whatever reason. What are they going to do? Re-evaluate everyone on an ongoing basis?? (as in continuous very close surveillance, like having a searchlight permanently implanted up one's ass)

While Craddock had no history of violence at work or in his personal life, according to the New York Times (https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/01/us/dewayne-craddock-virginia.html?searchResultPosition=1), he had been involved in a violent incident in the workplace in recent weeks, and had been warned that disciplinary action would be taken.

City officials including City Manager David Hansen said Craddock "was still employed" by the city at the time of the attack. "He had a security pass like all employees had and he was authorized to enter the building."
However, the Washington Post (https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/public-safety/virginia-beach-officials-expect-to-release-additional-details-of-mass-shooting/2019/06/02/a001b856-852f-11e9-a870-b9c411dc4312_story.html?utm_term=.4e18cbdcef94) reported Sunday morning that Craddock had resigned from his position by email Friday morning, just hours before the shooting began.

Despite having no history of aggressive behavior, Craddock had begun acting strangely in recent weeks (https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-01/police-identify-virginia-beach-shooter-victims-death-toll-climbs-13), even getting into "scuffles" with other works. He had even got into a violent altercation on city grounds, and was warned that disciplinary action would be taken.

Though his motives weren't clear, his neighbors had told reporters on Saturday that Craddock's wife had abruptly left him in the not-too-distant past.

When he stormed Building 2, the building where he had worked for more than a decade, helping to manage the city's water and sanitary sewer system, Craddock was armed with two .45-calber hand guns, at least one of which was outfitted with a silencer, and loaded with extended magazines. Two more guns were later found inside his home.

Police have yet to comment on a possible motive, and the reasons behind Craddock's sudden lurch toward staggering violence remain unclear.

Probably anyone who mentions keeping weapons to protect against an overreaching government, which is one of the primary goals of second amendment, would be deemed mentally unstable, and thus the 2nd amendment is effectively nullified. You would have a greater success keeping your weapon if you state that you need them for protection in your racketeering business, or for gang warfare purposes.
