Here is how you build a defacto border wall for the cost of gasoline and a little time -

Trap a large number of five pound alligators. And I mean a couple thousand or so. Put them in a horse trailer that can handle 10, 000 pounds and go to the Rio Grande in various locations and let 500 go in each spot to make damn good and sure you have released a survivable base population that will mate and make more. After a few trips, your border wall will be built. The border patrol is worried about ONE (1) alligator in the Rio Grande that is only six feet long. A five pounder is almost half way there, and they grow. Times three trips equals "problem" magnified by 6, 000.

Even 50 or so would probably eventually do the trick, but for speedy results the more the better. Let's see the Dems stop that!

a few well placed rounds would be a more economical option

True, but they are just wishing for a patriot to make an example out of for that kind of thing.
Drawn and quartered if they could get away with it.
For sure lots of cavity searches, no bed clothes in freezing rooms, every kind of torture they can think of.

The best part of this plan is that it could happen "under the cover of darkness." Just release a bunch of alligators on the hush hush. When the news comes out about the problem, the Trump administration can just make an announcement that they know about the issue, it is being addressed....and until it is resolved don't go swimming in the rio grande.

Just the fear factor of alligators being in there would be a great deterrent. Castles years ago had moats for a reason. We have a naturally made moat at our boarder.

Release the Kraken!!

A coworker suggested Piranhas. Lot's of options here. Some big snakes might be a nice touch as well, pythons or anacondas.

What happens when long pork is no longer a menu option?
