Globalisation is dead and we need to invent a new world orderA book excerpt and interview with Michael O'Sullivan, author of “The Levelling”

The Economist: What killed globalisation?

Michael O'Sullivan: At least two things have put paid to globalisation. First, global economic growth has slowed, and as a result, the growth has become more “financialised”: debt has increased and there has been more “monetary activism”—that is, central banks pumping money into the economy by buying assets, such as bonds and in some cases even equities—to sustain the international expansion. Second, the side effects, or rather the perceived side-effects, of globalisation are more apparent: wealth inequality, the dominance of multinationals and the dispersion of global supply chains, which have all become hot political issues.

Interesting use of the term "put paid"; global financialism proceding as they planned.

Global leaders have zero connection to the people they are set to rule. They owe their allegiance to the global capitalists, that finance their campaigns, and make anyone who doesn’t tow their line unelectable. The global capitalists in turn get laws that favor their business in front of small local businesses. Further they play out countries and regions against each other in terms of getting the cheapest possible products. In other words they depress salaries so that the people who works for them barely survives, IOW institutionalized international slavery. Meanwhile they grow rich beyond imagination. From selling their “goods” and ”services” on credit.

There is no free market in this equation.

To better expand Globalist Banking's reach, Central Nationalist Banks have reinvigorated their roots deeper into local economies.

Like when you try to pull a leach off without anesthetizing it first, what you thought was obviously easily removed (dead) sinks its teeth deeper.

The lipstick-sized capsules will be released into space and will orbit the Earth for between 18 months and 10 years before gravity pulls them back into the atmosphere.
