I only stumbled upon & watched this part 5, pub'd yest (Fri); VG! He's in SF CA, interviews millennials + one family on SF streets, re their perceptions on things. Great commentary between interviews.

They reported on the news this morning that Californians have figured out the green way to pass away. They spend $3,000 for a redwood tree to spread their ashes on and avoid the non-green cemetery burial. Or they can purchase a circle of trees for $30k for a family tree burial plot.

Nice idea but wonder if anyone has figured out that you could just pick any tree in any forest and spread the ashes .. for free.

Commerce ... I don't believe a Californian knows how to live (or die) without it.

One thing though ... I guess the commercial method practically guarantees no interlopers ashes will be mixed with yours.... if that matters. Can trespass occur in the necromancer world?
