Reddit Karma Hell

Wondering if someone can help me out of Reddit Karma Hell.

For some stupid reason, one needs to have 50 karma points in order to post [wtf?]. I was posting and not realizing this. It was up to 10 points, then started dropping to 5 and then I found out that they have this policy. Now it's just sitting at 5 points for a couple weeks. How does one fix this?

You can't even post comments? Nope. ........and that's how you're supposed to build your karma. I think it's dumb. I have to step back form GSUS every now and then -- too much doom.....

I think this sub allows you to post and comment without 50 karma. Post here until you get to 50 so you can post elsewhere.

Just to add to this discussion, I discovered Reddit like a year or so ago, created an account, and my very first post went somewhat "viral" and ended up getting over 20,000 upvotes. So I don't have to worry about Reddit Karma ever again! :)
