A rock with a low point in the middle cracks, water begins to infiltrate the crack and expand it through to the bottom, the full depth crack allows water to flow and erode the earth under the bottom, years of erosion smooth out the surfaces of the crack, a clever photographer notices the full depth crack and takes a picture right through the middle, which looks cool. This is just my guess though.

Okay I watched it a few times and still don't get the smooth separation. Plus if you look at the initial view it looks to be chopped on the front. Like it was cut into '3rds

Natural. Amazing but natural. Note that on the backside there is another slice ready to come off and it is just as straight as the existing split. Some kind of sedimentary formation. Very interesting.
