I thought he handled himself pretty well. He's definitely well informed.

Definitely a good interaction on the cops part.

I think it being a black cop helped him. In about 2004 I was pulled over doing 92 in a 65 - it was a wide open, level, 4 lane divided highway (almost like a superslab interstate) with clear weather and no other cars around. I ran through a radar trap operated by a county mountie and he wanted some revenue. The very first thing I told him when he asked for a DRIVER LICENSE was "Deputy, I'm not a licensee." Deputy Dawg said, "You're telling me you don't have a license??" I looked at him and said with a shrug, "I just told you the facts of the matter, dunno what else to tell ya." From there he called for 'back-up' since they struggle with anomalies and another deputy dawg and a black DPS Trooper showed up as the swarm (I love it when they swarm, it shows their weakness lol). We held court on the side of the road. Deputy Dawg keep asking questions such as,
"Where are you coming from?"
Me: "That way" pointing east.
Deputy Dawg: Where are you going?
Me: That way (pointing west, my direction of travel).
Deputy Dawg: Where did you spend the night last night? (this was due to tripping his trigger when he asked for my address on the ticket, and I responded, "My MAILING address is..." he wanted to know "where do you live"...we'll get to that in sec)
Me: At a friend's (which is true, my landlord is a friend lol)
Deputy Dawg: Where are you spending the night tonight?
Me: I dunno, I haven't decided yet.
Deputy Dawg: Where do you LIVE??
Me: I inhaled a deep breathe and then exhaled, then said with a smile, "Right here."
Deputy Dawg: stunned silence as he proceeded to finish writing out that traffic ticket
FYI, I never paid that ticket and never went to jail for it.
All four of us left the scene and the black DPS Trooper (who I had observed was very curious as to what I was up to, but not in a bad way) went the same direction I was headed. I pulled up alongside the black DPS Trooper at a traffic light and motioned for him to pull over (at first he was kind of wide-eyed as in WTF??). When he pulled over and we both got out I explained that I had noticed he had a genuine curiosity as to what I was up to. I asked him if he had a copy of the Texas Penal Code with him and he said he had one in the trunk of his car. He got it out and I started pointing some things out to him. He was genuinely interested in knowing. We spent over 30 minutes of the side of the road discussing this stuff, at least up to the point we got surrounded by five other LEOs at same time. When the black DPS Trooper initially got out of his car to talk to me he forgot to bring his portable radio or turn on the loudspeaker on his cruiser for his dispatch radio so he could hear his radio calls. He was totally incommunicado for over 30 minutes and all his fellow nearby LEOs freaked out that he was out of touch. So did he when they all showed up at once. lol

The most important takeaway from the video in the OP is that the black dude was fully prepared for that encounter. Kudos!

Was wondering what the latest straight skinny is on that High Impact Vlog YT show host. I used to get successfully riled up with his videos but became desensitized when I saw the flaw in his libertarian principles. But in truth his tactics to get his audience riled up to bring money in are used also by some of the best commentators I see out there including the patriotic and religious ones.
In my big blue town the libertarians have been trying to get "Constitutional" behavior from law enforcement and the courts for over twenty years and it has all been to no avail but their efforts still provide money making opportunities for many.
