I believe Respir-ease also has mullein and a host of other beneficial anti-viral and anti-bacterial herbal agents. My belief is that simply taking a lomatium extract such as LDM-100 would be very helpful in overcoming viral pnuemonia. Lomatium or desert parsley is endangered and hard to cultivate. The Indians in the Northwest showed amazing resilience to the cytokine storms from the Swine Flu in 1917 and 18. They used the root of lomatium in a tea form.

Thanks for posting this. I have a little chronic bronchitis from years of breathing the dust from changing asbestos brake shoes and clutches diesel smoke and all the other contaminants present in a truck repair facility. Any kind of dust, pollen in the air or spray air fresheners will bring on coughing. Halls menthol lyptus cough drops help control the cough.

The institute tested almost 700 teachers and pupils of a school in Crépy-en-Valois in one of the hardest-hit areas in France, as well as their families. The “highly accurate” tests found that only 7.2 per cent of smokers from among the adults tested were infected while four times as many non-smokers, some 28 per cent, were infected...

However, the Pasteur Institute results appear to tally with another study by the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris, which questioned 480 patients who tested positive for the virus.

According to their findings, among the 350 patients hospitalised, whose median age was 65, only 4.4 per cent were regular smokers. Among those released home, with a median age of 44, 5.3 per cent smoked.

The French health authority Santé Publique France puts the number of smokers in the general population at 32 per cent of people between 18 to 75 years old.

“Compared to the French general population, the Covid-19 population exhibited a significantly weaker current daily smoker rate by 80.3 per cent for outpatients and by 75.4 per cent for inpatients,” the researchers wrote in their study.

“Thus, current smoking status appears to be a protective factor against the infection by SARS-CoV-2.”

The researchers said that a “nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR)” plays a key role in infection from the coronavirus and that nicotine may act to protect this receptor from attack. It may also lessen the overreaction of the body’s immune system that has been found in the most severe cases of Covid-19 infection.

Years ago, I used to listen to Dr. Rebecca Carley (I think she started as a trauma surgeon, then her career changed after he son was vaccine damaged and she started speaking out), and she said she used symphytum officinale to heal her broken food. I'm in NJ, so there are no homeopaths where I am, so I've just tried hit or miss and doing my own research, but I've found homeopathy helpful, if you get the right remedy.

The answer is found in who discredited it and what reward was reaped by so doing. Allopathy is about fixing symptoms while repaying student loans. Homeopathy is about finding something that causes the same symptoms in the hopes that the body will respond in the same way and effect a cure. Naturopathy is about collecting herbs and minerals to become one with nature. In all of these approaches if you become cured you are the common denominator and need look no further than yourself to be fixed when broken. ALLOPATHS will break you financially before allowing you to fix yourself medically. Their theory appears to be to take your mind off your physical condition by inflicting pain on your bank statement.

People with low levels of vitamin D may be more likely to die from the coronavirus, according to a preliminary study.

Researchers at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation Trust and the University of East Anglia in England compared the average vitamin D levels (https://www.researchsquare.com/article/rs-21211/v1) of 20 European countries with COVID-19 mortality rates — and found “significant relationships” between vitamin D levels and the number of deaths caused by this infection.

The study, which has not been peer-reviewed, notes sun-starved “Nordic” countries are among the most at risk.

“We believe that we can advise vitamin D supplementation to protect against SARS-CoV2 infection,” the researchers wrote.

The finding falls in line with previous research that suggests healthy vitamin D levels can reduce the risk of respiratory infections (https://www.bmj.com/content/356/bmj.i6583).

And a study from Trinity College Dublin earlier this month (https://www.tcd.ie/news_events/articles/vitamin-d-could-help-fight-off-covid-19-new-tilda-research/), in response to the coronavirus pandemic, found that the vitamin plays a critical role in preventing respiratory infections and boosting the immune system response to infections. The researchers wrote that vitamin D reduced the risk of chest infections by half in people who took supplements.

The latest study found older people in Switzerland, Italy and Spain were the most at risk of being deficient.

“The most vulnerable group of the population for COVID–19 is also the one that has the most deficit in Vitamin D,” it wrote.

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that promotes healthy bones and supports immune system function. Your body produces vitamin D naturally when it’s directly exposed to sunlight, but it can also be obtained from eating foods such as fatty fish, egg yolks, mushrooms and cheese.

Results: The mean level of vitamin D (average 56mmol/L, STDEV 10.61) in each country was strongly associated with the number of cases/1M (mean 295.95, STDEV 298.73 p=0.004, respectively with the mortality/1M (mean 5.96, STDEV 15.13, p < 0.00001).

Discussion: Vitamin D levels are severely low in the aging population especially in Spain, Italy and Switzerland. This is also the most vulnerable group of population for COVID-19.

Conclusions: We believe, that we can advise Vitamin D supplementation to protect against SARS-CoV2 infection.
