Okay, so someone in CA just sent me this link (but it did not work for me)

Note the posting date.
https://jobs.cdc.gov/job/dallas/public-health-advisor-quarantine-program/250/14136286

So then she sent me the image from the site, and I want everyone to see it.

But I can't paste it here.

Okay, so what it shows is a job ad for public health advisor for quarantine program and the date it was posted was 11/2019 (so they were totally planning for this)
and it mentions many locations.

I don't know what to do with it, but think this should get out there.

the process for "attaching" an image to a post in this version of vBulletin is a confusing hassle -- I'd up the pic to imgur.com (http://imgur.com), then give us the imgur link.

The only place on this forum we can post images is the lounge, suggest you post there.

Amanda can post the link to the image in any thread/post too.
The only way to see the image using the board is by posting in the lounge.

Okay, I did it. At first it looked like a mess of garble, but then it worked;)

the CDC link works for me; not sure why it doesn't open for U?

whatever the case, here's latest archive.is backup, of which there are 5 copies atm:

I seriously have no freaking clue! I'm a total idiot w/computers/technology

When I clicked on your link, I got this "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead"--should I just go ahead anyway??

assuming you're ref'ing my archive.is link, I've never gotten a browser msg like that wrt that archive site!

if you still weren't able to open the CDC site then yes ignore ur browser's bogus "security risk..." warning. The big browsers draw off TPTB's same fraudulent database of web pages they'd rather not see propagate - surprising an archive.is page would be on their list!

apologies to all for not being computer savvy (I'm sure all of my questions must be annoying)

Apparently, everyone else has no problem with original link

Can't post images. JQP disabled the ability to embed images. Best you can do is just paste the link to the image in a post.

[IMG] code is Off

Per the bottom of this page if you want to confirm.

This is what I get when I click on the original link:

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at jobs.cdc.gov.

If that address is correct, here are three other things you can try:

Try again later.
Check your network connection.
If you are connected but behind a firewall, check that Firefox has permission to access the Web.
