Plenty of the vegan nonsense.

That's sort of what I saw. I have been actually sort of impressed by how discerning people seem to be in what they spend their money on (aside from the WM fuckheads). Maybe all the doomer conspiracy theorist types taught them a little back in the day. :)

Was in my grocery store 2 days ago and only 2-3% of the non-perishable manufactured food products were sold out. Fresh produce, dairy and meat seemed normal (without sales), some brands of fresh eggs were missing.

Non-dessert frozen food was worst hit, about 1/5 of other than frozen vegetables was sold out. And it looked like 3/5 of frozen vegetables were sold out, however on closer inspection all that remained of frozen vegetables were several different types of frozen soybean, soy pods, baby soybean, etc. and they had spread them out too look like there were more frozen vegetable products than they actually had.

So people aren't buying soy.

Good for them.

I think there is an undiscovered protein in meat that causes meat eaters to be less gullible and more intelligent than the grazers.

I have been drinking more beer than usual lately; I think it is the anxiety from seeing this shit-show unfold. Anyway, I keep kegs of beer because I do not believe in scarcity. Kinda funny but I can't get a half barrel up the stairs in my shop anymore so I had two of my sons bring one up and they wrestled it in to the 'Keezer' and it was just a little too big to fit in with the other half barrel and it got stuck. I apologized profusely because they then had to wrestle it out. Well I had to get another freezer, so I called around and there were no chest freezers at ABC Wharehouse. I make Keezers (kinda like a kegerator) out of freezers. The guy said they were all sold out because of this crisis. I guess all the good-ol-boys around here are stocking up meats. I had to purchase a kegerator from them, the last one. Well, it turned out they do not ship the kegerators with a full CO2 tank. I called the local bottle gas company and they said that my CO2 tank was not critical and they were disallowed by law to sell me any. I told them that I strongly objected and I felt that tapping my keg was very critical. I finally made a deal with the guy (he felt sorry for me and relented) paid him over the phone with a card and had him put the CO2 tank outside the pick-up door so there was no unneccessary contact. The beer is now safe. So releived.

It is not a protein. It is trace minerals. I remember watching a documentary on nutrition, guy claimed cocoa contained trace minerals. I looked into and found no evidence. I tried other plant compounds. Nothing. I reversed it and searched for foods containing trace minerals- BOOM; MEAT. Animals eat tons (literally) of plant material and concentrate trace minerals.
