I know. Strange question but here is an aspect you likely never considered in this way.
The legal system recognizes social distancing when you attach a simple condition to your signature.
AT ARMS LENGTH
This keeps trusts and agents at a socially correct distance and destroys any preconceived notion that you want to establish domestic relations with anyone.
No mask required. This is how you keep a legal virus from attaching itself and ruining your joy and happiness.
Otherwise, when you see an agent, RUN!!!

Interesting. Can you give an example of how this can help us in our daily lives? Would a notary honor this condition?

Notaries are never the problem. They merely attest to identity and signature and whatever oath you want subject to perjury.
This is a piece of the puzzle. It is not the whole picture. It is not the driving force to avoid all obligations but if you have a specific obligation and you would rather not give an unprotected signature this is one way to do it. According to the UCC you can use WITHOUT PREJUDICE or ALL RIGHTS RESERVED but these unfortunately place your authority with the uniform commercial code (not where you find any remedy). The statute of fraud is the protection you are looking for. Any unprotected signature removes this protection. What you are doing is making it clear no previous presumption has any effect and the signature by itself is not a contract or an invitation to contract.

I get what you are saying now, and this is very helpful.

I signed my drivers license “without prejudice “ and I sign my checks “ all rights reserved” above my signature on a line above the crossed out signature line.
When I can slip it in I sign “under duress” Most people don’t catch it as they see me signing and ASSume it’s my signature.

Without prejudice and all rights reserved tend to import the uniform commercial code. I prefer to avoid the UCC where possible because it is recent law, it is foreign law and it is not my law. On financial dealings with banks I import 12 USC 411 by reference without specifying that it is the lawful money clause I am interested in.
If a signature with AT ARMS LENGTH phrase attached is accepted that is an agreement that there are no previous contract or relationships.
You are presented with a unilateral offer. You modify (conditional acceptance) with AT ARMS LENGTH phrase. You have agreed to contract if the other party accepts your condition and if they accept they have agreed THERE IS NO PREVIOUS CONTRACT IN EFFECT.
You have to know this because no one else is going to know what you are doing. These phrases each have different uses even though they all conditionally the current offer on the table.
