ran across him on zerohedge - he wants to get back into gsus. he's lost his passwords and email accounts tied to gsus, so he's dead in the water

does anyone have a login name + password that he can use? or any other ideas to get him in?

I think he was permabanned. Have to register new.

No he's not permabanned, I confirmed by looking at his account. It's still there and accessible, but if he lost the password and no longer has access to the email address then he can't reset it. I did notify JQP, but didn't hear back from him, and he didn't seem open to reopening registration... :-/

No, the only option we have available to us is to send a password reset to the email account he used to register. If he can't access that email account, he can't reset his password. I scoured all of my authorities in the mod and admin panel, and can't do anything more. Only JQP can solve this problem.

Same here... There are different mod levels, Madfranks is a mod higher than I am, but unfortunately neither of us have any ability to manually type in a password and give it to the user via a secondary means of communication.


JQP has been less than active, does not appear to want to open registration I don't think we have much of an option other than building a new home with multiple mods / stake holders.

If anyone here exchanged emails with him, they likely have an address for him to access email. Fred was an excellent poster and researcher. We did not always agree and it did get lively at times. Would be great to see him back.

I hope JQP can open up registration for a brief pre determined time just to let Fred back in and then he can shut it down again.

Any low level mod should have ability to change an email address, if they don't they're lower than low.

I can change mine at the grocery store clerk...
