More than half of Americans SUPPORT SENDING MILITARY to aid police in dealing with George Floyd protests – poll

Over 50 percent of Americans would like to see the army deployed to the streets of US cities to help police tackle the riots raging across the country following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police.

The US has been gripped by a massive wave of protests for over a week, as hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets to call for justice for the African American man, who was choked to death by a police officer during a detention process.

While it might seem that the nation, or the larger part of it at least, has rallied behind the cause, a large number of Americans admitted they would not object to the military being deployed to aid the police in dealing with the protest actions that have spiraled into riots and violent clashes with law enforcement in many cities.


A poll conducted between May 31 and June 1 by Morning Consult data intelligence company showed that as many as 58 percent of Americans approve of the idea. One third of the respondents “strongly support” it while only a total of 30 percent oppose, to some extent, deploying the troops. The survey relies on a “national sample of 1,624 registered voters” interviewed online.

Sorry, but you'll have to count me in on that. You can't reason with these people and they will not respect you...all that is left is force.
The Democrat cities, (governors, mayors, police chiefs, politicians) are standing down to destroy the economy further and prolong the recovery, for the election.
Anyone have a better solution?

I agree, and I don't like it either...and it could get out of control, but hopefully not if done right. I'd be interested to hear your solution?

Saying the government could designate anti-vaccine people as terrorists. I doubt it, big difference between the your right to protect your body and people looting, burning and killing innocent people.

Attorney says if you not able to shut down riots with police, there's no hope. They might be able to if the Democrat Governors, Mayors and police chiefs allowed them to.

RealID people demand protection. Without RealID there are no airplane flights in your future and forget about entering a federal courthouse. Cause, you know, if you aren't asking your government for protection you must be one of the other guys.

We have guns to protect our lives and our property. Why send in troops to do what we should be doing ourselves. These rioters can be considered enemy soldiers. Some are mercenaries, paid by Soros and who knows what other entities. Some simply are out to destroy anything they can because of pent up rage. If they were to riot in my neck of the woods the guns would come out and it would be over quickly. The ingredient that is missing here is the will to use force against these creatures. Some are afraid of being prosecuted for the crime of protecting their property with force. Some are afraid of using force period and believe the police or soldiers should be used for this, but the police are not here to serve and protect us; the Corporate Entities are their masters and the same holds true for the military; they have not been protecting our borders 'EVER' so why should they change their tune now. No, if the military is unleashed within our country, it will be for the purpose of tightening the noose around our collective necks, not for the stated purpose of restoring order.

The problem here is corporate politics and the military 'National Guard' can only be considered to be an arm of the corporate police state.
