Dachsie understands this decision to mean that “sex discrimination in employment” can now judged upon by determining if discrimination took place based upon biological distinctions between male and female but now also upon sexual-orientation and gender-identity grounds.

Whatever is the correct understanding, this SCOTUS decision is extremely important for the future of the Constitutional republic of the USA and the rule of law.

Justice Gorsuch botched Bostock v. Clayton County ruling on homosexual and transgender 'rights'

By Tony Perkins - - Friday, June 19, 2020

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

"In Bostock, Justice Gorsuch wrote that the Supreme Court “normally interprets a statute in accord with the ordinary public meaning of its terms at the time of its enactment.” He even admits that when the Civil Rights Act, the basis of the court’s action, was enacted in 1964, the term “sex” referred “only to biological distinctions between male and female.” But then, he writes, this is just a “starting point” and concludes that “it is impossible to discriminate against a person for being homosexual or transgender without discriminating against that individual based on sex.”

Will the Real Justice Gorsuch Please Stand Up?

Has a great judge been body-snatched?

How does an employer know what a persons sexual preference is? Can a person just say they were fired because they are a homosexual, or a tranny?
Should the plaintiff have to prove they are gay, or a tranny, and how do they prove that? It really comes down to the kind of sex they are having, no?

I just read the entire long article at City-Journal as well as pages and pages of very astute comments on all sides of the issue.

I just think this decision of the SCOTUS was giant step in the wrong direction. Pretty, soon every weird thing in the book is going to be a legally protected class.

What's up next? Pedophiles perhaps.
