USG holds about half of them.

I was listening to an interview over the weekend. I guy was talking about having his bitcoin seized by the feds. He won his court case and the bitcoins were to be returned. The guy said he got 9 of 10 back and the feds said to prove that the last bitcoin was his. Dude said he tracked from his wallet to a special fed wallet that held about 6.4 million bitcoins.

Any truth to this?

Thanks for sharing! In a nutshell, with all of the money printing and loose distribution of hundreds of billions of dollars to people who are already wealthy beyond measure, those rich folks will need somewhere to park all their new money, and he sees bitcoin and cryptos being a target for this liquidity spilling into the crypto market. I wonder if this'll mean six digit BTC?

I think it's realistic Bitcoin will 5 to 50x in the next 1-3 years.

If there's any truth to the Stock to Flow chart:
https://digitalik.net/btc/

...or the Rainbow chart:
https://www.blockchaincenter.net/bitcoin-rainbow-chart/

Neither of these account for the pandemic/money printing, which mean prices could go even higher, and faster.

Yes, but I hesitate to participate in a "greater fool" ponzi scheme destined to fail. I'd rather look for intrinsic value, whether in tools, coins, women, etc.

Smell, sight, sound, taste, touch. That's all you were born with. How do you find value when you can't sense it?

I don't buy palini's claim that BTC is equivalent to the tulip frenzy. A very simple understanding of the value that BTC adds to a digital economy should be enough for any reasonable person to see this. There is value in BTC, if you don't believe me, ask all the people in Venezuela using it to survive as their government money has become worthless.

Economy ... The science of managing shortages.

So how do you have a shortage of something that lacks existence? Either join reality or live in fantasy. Before you decide consider the environment created by people who live in fantasy-land.
