Scrap price is $.04 a pound ($80 a ton or a quarter cent an ounce). While you are watching the price of PM's you are missing out on LOTS of money!!! And you don't need a safe or 24 hr armed guards

How much are you going to spend hauling it to your place?
How much is gas, labor, xxx?

I may not be much at reading a chart but it looks like in '08, iron and steel were running about 800 dollars a ton. I see an upside if there is another war which will increase demand. I remember seeing a copper 'flowstone' that was about as big as a vw, in a yard in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for $5000; this back in 07. Wonder what it is worth today.

That is the delivered price.
Do it yourself and charge yourself what you like for your labor.
