Why target the ATT central office in Nashville??

It appears the RV bomb was parked directly in front of ATT's central office in Nashville, like on the curb closest to the building. In case you're unfamiliar with the term a central office for the phone company is where all their lines come into one location. Most central office locations are scattered in outlying areas here and there and are much smaller buildings, however in cities the central office located in or near downtown is the main central office, usually in a multi-story building lacking windows. In Nashville the location bombed was the communications hub for the greater Nashville area and apparently that hub reaches into other states.

Interesting how this stacks up...a kinder, gentler bomber who chooses a time when there's the likely to be the fewest people out and around, and then gives a 15 minute warning? Aimed specifically at infrastructure while de-escalating the violence against people?

I was watching an aerial view of the bomb damage and I noticed that the RV bomb was parked within a few feet of an underground electrical utility vault (as close as could be parked to the electrical vault at the curb) at the base of the ATT central office so it appears taking out the power to the ATT central office was the objective. There's a large square hole in the ground exactly where you'd expect to see an underground electrical utility vault and that's where the bomb blast indication was centered. An ATT released a statement indicating a major power outage due to major damage: "Power is essential to restoring wireless and wireline communications, and we are working with law enforcement to get access to our equipment and make needed repair...There are serious logistical challenges to working in a disaster area and we will make measurable progress in the hours and days ahead." By appearances in the aerial view video there did not appear to be major structural damage to the ATT central office building, just a large perfectly square hole in the ground right next to the building, exactly where one would expect to see an underground electrical vault.

Ok, so I was examining the bomb damage to the ATT central office after having found a pretty good aerial view of where of the damage was centered indicating exactly where the RV bomb was parked and subsequently detonated. I compared the image of the damage to the central office building to the joogle street view from 2019 and guess what - the RV bomb was parked as close as possible to the underground electrical vault so clearly the target was disrupting power to the Nashville ATT central office for an extended period of time. The RV bomb may have even been parked directly over the underground electrical vault, there is certainly enough room on the sidewalk to park a RV directly over the electrical vault. The electrical vault is now thoroughly fucked, it's going to take several weeks if not months to fix that extent of broken, it's extreme and will require major excavation.

I see no evidence that that ATT building was anything other than a building full of communication equipment, it was purpose built specifically as a central office, that sort of architecture does not lend itself to other uses. Additionally I’ve seen discussion where investors have owned that building at one point. That’s ludicrous. ATT has always had deep pockets and ATT has always built and maintained their own buildings (at least the buildings that contain infrastructure).

OK, I get the objections to the wild speculation about suspects or motives, so I’ll lead with just technical analysis of available video and still image information.
First off, there are clearly two blasts. The first is underground venting near the front of the AT&T building. The second blast moments later destroys the RV on the opposite side of the street, not directly opposite to the AT&T facility.
First blast analysis:
Below ground. Powerful enough to blow out pavement covers. Powerful enough to scatter the piston from a roped hydraulic elevator and its counterweight bars all over the street. Colour temperature indicates chemical explosive but not a Stoichiometric Acetylene/Oxygen or Hydrogen/Oxygen gas device nor an ALICE exotic.
Second blast analysis (the RV):
Occurs moments after the first blast. High heave/low brizzance. Low cratering, high over pressure at distance and significant “suck-back”. (note the fall positions of the trees). Probably AFNO or a mining powergel, not HE. (A traditional FAE could cause similar pressure effects, but too many awnings and curtains are un-burnt. Also no fuel mist dispersal in videos prior to the second detonation). Again, rising fireball in dashcam shots rules out Stoichimetric gas or ALICE exotics.
Now the wild tinfoil-hat speculation (don’t lie, you know you want it!)
The RV was used because it had inbuilt power systems capable of powering the sound system needed. (I should know, as I have been organizing a major parade float with an 11m flatbed truck for over a decade. LED lighting and diode lasers have significantly reduced power requirements over this time, but we still need at least 3 Kva for sound. The RV could meet that requirement without modification.)
The secondary RV blast was used to cover the first underground AT&T blast.
The first blast occurred from within the EMP shielding of the AT&T facility, but there was no major structural damage to the building.
Looks like the first blast was a lensed HE coil compression EMP device detonated below street level in the AT&T building.
Second blast designed to cover the first is a no-brainer. But what was the first blast from within the AT&T building intended to destroy/disrupt?!

Not sure about downtown sNatchville but... Got to travel to sNacthville again in a few weeks. Last time I stayed on the outskirts. Real dirty everywhere, druggies and meth whores abound.
