Any action you take is based on information. Information comes to you by one of your five senses or is extrapolated in your mind. Information created in the mind is rational or irrational. In any case bad information falls in the category of illusion. When you decide to take an action that is based on bad information that action is called delusion.

Rights are natural or based on your status. Trump had a right to occupy the oval office because the consensus of a majority of voters gave him the status. A mayor directs the activities of a Municipality because he has the status to do so. A police chief directs the activities of his department because he has achieved that status.

As to natural rights survival ranks high. Everyone breathing has a natural right to see that breathing is not interrupted. This is termed LIFE and falls under the protection of natural law. Less protected are the rights of LIBERTY and PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS (aka the right to own property).

What of benefits (which modern society confers or denies at their whim)? Here is my take:

I have a number of mousetraps. I place a dab of peanut butter on each trap because the mice view this as a benefit. Those that accept the benefit I offer find themselves in Mouse Valhalla with the taste of peanut butter on their breath. Those that don't accept my benefit live to spread little mouse turds a little longer.

You will enjoy life much longer if you avoid societies benefits! Spread turds and let the liberals have all the benefits.

a fake right often exposes itself - the fake right is coupled with coercion of others to provide that right

healthcare is a right. that means people can be forced to provide it to those clamoring for their 'right'

clean water is a right. that means people can be forced to provide it to those clamoring for their 'right'
