Elevation of Medina, Washington, a small suburb Seattle, is 125 ft above sea level.

My guess is a tsunami would need to be ~150-200 ft. tall. The Cascadia Subduction Zone may be capable of such a thing. The world would be a much better place if the timing was just right.

There is no Cascadia subduction zone.

Assuming the mayor is 6 ft tall ... 6 feet

There is no Cascadia subduction zone.

Why do you say that??

Why do you say that??

Calling out fake fear-mongering.

So you have no evidence to counter the evidence indicating historical geological catastrophic events in that area?

What evidence do you have for countering?

You have presented no evidence. There's tree stump evidence which only shows up at low tide for one thing, as well as the 1/26/1700 event.

You assumed a claim of something existing. (Status-quo establishment fear mongering via subduction plate tectonics.)

You want me to prove the negative? Waste of both of our time.

Seems like if the ocean floor was being pushed under the coastline trees and stumps along the coast would be pushed up higher.

From your link: "These events are recorded in the oral traditions of the First Nations people on Vancouver Island."

Is that your best evidence in support of subduction zone plate tectonic theory?

This is what I am countering (also from the link): "In the interval between great earthquakes, the tectonic plates become stuck together, yet continue to move towards each other. This causes tremendous strain and deformation of the Earth's crust in the coastal region and causes ongoing earthquake activity. This is the situation that we are in now."

The Pacific Plate and the North American plate are separating from each other. In the PNW this separation is not stuck. However the scamquake establishment fear mongering continues based on 'subduction theory' b.s.
