That didn't take long to get the bombs flying. The risk of a greater war just went up.
I've been telling people for a couple weeks now that the risk when up for a war since the commies seized our country.
The title should read "The CCP controlled United States launched airstrikes in Syria on Thursday"

WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States launched airstrikes in Syria on Thursday, targeting facilities near the Iraqi border used by Iranian-backed militia groups. The Pentagon said the strikes were retaliation for a rocket attack in Iraq earlier this month that killed one civilian contractor and wounded a U.S. service member and other coalition troops.
The airstrike was the first military action undertaken by the Biden administration, which in its first weeks has emphasized its intent to put more focus on the challenges posed by China, even as Mideast threats persist.
“This proportionate military response was conducted together with diplomatic measures, including consultation with coalition partners,” the Pentagon's chief spokesperson, John Kirby, said in announcing the strikes.
“The operation sends an unambiguous message: President Biden will act to protect American and coalition personnel. At the same time, we have acted in a deliberate manner that aims to deescalate the overall situation in eastern Syria and Iraq.”
Kirby said the U.S. airstrikes “destroyed multiple facilities at a border control point used by a number of Iranian- backed militant groups.”
Further details were not immediately available.
Biden administration officials condemned the Feb. 15 rocket attack near the city of Irbil in Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdish-run region, but as recently as this week officials indicated they had not determined for certain who carried it out. Officials have noted that in the past, Iranian-backed Shiite militia groups have been responsible for numerous rocket attacks that targeted U.S. personnel or facilities in Iraq.
Kirby had said Tuesday that Iraq is in charge of investigating the Feb. 15 attack.
“Right now, we’re not able to give you a certain attribution as to who was behind these attacks, what groups, and I’m not going to get into the tactical details of every bit of weaponry used here," Kirby said. "Let’s let the investigations complete and conclude, and then when we have more to say, we will.”
A little-known Shiite militant group calling itself Saraya Awliya al-Dam, Arabic for Guardians of Blood Brigade, claimed responsibility for the Feb. 15 attack. A week later, a rocket attack in Baghdad's Green Zone appeared to target the U.S. Embassy compound, but no one was hurt.
Iran this week said it has no links to the Guardians of Blood Brigade.
The frequency of attacks by Shiite militia groups against U.S. targets in Iraq diminished late last year ahead of President Joe Biden’s inauguration, though now Iran is pressing America to return to Tehran’s 2015 nuclear deal. The U.S. under the previous Trump administration blamed Iran-backed groups for carrying out the attacks. Tensions soared after a Washington-directed drone strike that killed top Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani and powerful Iraqi militia leader Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis last year.
Trump had said the death of a U.S. contractor would be a red line and provoke U.S. escalation in Iraq. The December 2019 killing of a U.S. civilian contractor in a rocket attack in Kirkuk sparked a tit-for-tat fight on Iraqi soil that brought the country to the brink of a proxy war.
U.S. forces have been significantly reduced in Iraq to 2,500 personnel and no longer partake in combat missions with Iraqi forces in ongoing operations against the Islamic State group.

Anyone that would sign up to fight for these commies today is a fool.
Most likely they have no parental direction and indoctrinated by their schooling. Things are a bit different down here in the south.

The Resurrection of the Third Reich in Amerika
Paul Craig Roberts
Yes, the Third Reich is undergoing resurrection, but not by white supremacists. It is the white liberals in the Democrat Party and their presstitute propaganda machine—New York Times, CNN, NPR, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and the rest of the presstitute whores— that comprise the new Nazi movement. The only difference is that this time the target is white gentiles.
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum says that “the goal of Nazi propaganda was to demonize Jews and to create a climate of hostility and indifference toward their plight.” In actual fact, the purpose was more severe. The purpose was to deprive Jews of their dignity and the protection of law. This has now happened to white gentiles in the United States. For example, as I reported earlier today, Jodi Shaw, a white female staff member of Smith College, in former times a prestigeous women’s college, now an anti-white propaganda institution, resigned, accusing the college of creating a “racially hostile environment” for white people.
Shaw said that Smith College’s anti-white racism left her “physially and mentally debilitated. I endured racially hostile comments, and was expected to participate in racially prejudicial behavior as a continued condition of my employment. I endured meetings in which another staff member violently banged his fist on the table, chanting ‘Rich, white women! Every day, I watch my colleagues manage student conflict through the lens of race, projecting rigid assumptions and stereotypes on students, thereby reducing them to the color of their skin. I am asked to do the same, as well as to support a curriculum for students that teaches them to project those same stereotypes and assumptions onto themselves and others. I believe such a curriculum is dehumanizing, prevents authentic connection, and undermines the moral agency of young people who are just beginning to find their way in the world.” https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2021/02/22/the-demonization-of-white-americans-is-official-educational-corporate-and-government-policy/
Thinking she was protected by the Civil Rights Act, she filed a complaint. The result? “I was told that the civil rights law protections were not created to help [white] people like me,” she wrote. She was stripped of duties, which was a retaliation for her filing the complaint.
President Trump tried to stop the discrimination against white people, who are being forced out of their jobs just as Jews were in Nazi Germany. But the election thief, Biden has restored and eleveted the discrimination against white Americans. The “racial sensitivity” classes in the military and government agencies in which white people are taught to acknowledge their “systemic racism,” and thus to understand any correction of a person of color is an act of racism and must not occur if you are to avoid retribution for being a systemic racist. Thus, all standards collapse.
David Flynn, the football coach at Massachusetts Dedham High School for the past decade was fired becaus he complained that his 7th grade daughter was being propagandized against her white race in her school classes. https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2021/02/22/the-demonization-of-white-americans-is-official-educational-corporate-and-government-policy/
The demonization of American white people is a hard undeniable fact. They have been discriminated against for decades because of racial quotas in university admissions, hiring, and promotion. But now discrimination against whites has become persecution, and it is more scary. In Germany Jews were a tiny minority. In the United States whites are still a 60% majority. In the US it is the majority that is being demonized. Moreover, it is white liberal Democrats who are demonizing white people.
The election thief, Biden, has staffed his administration with anti-white racists, and has put anti-white racists in positions where they can best demonize white Americans. All of this is happening in plain view, and insouciance prevails.
White peoples are still a majority in the Western World, but they comprise a small minority in terms of world population. As anti-white propaganda has originated in the white Western world, the white world has set itself up for demonization by the world majority. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres declared today at the UN Human Rights Council that white supremacy is “becoming a transnational threat.” The UN Secretary General believes that there is a “growing danger” from white people of “ethnically motivated terrorism.” He calls on the world for “coordinated action” to counter this threat that is “growing by the day.” https://www.rt.com/news/516277-unitednations-white-supremacy-nazi/
Obviously, the Western world has no moral authority when it is seen as a racist threat that is “growing by the day.”
Western civilization is the first civilization to demonize itself and, thereby, reduce itself to an immoral entity and perceived threat by the rest of the world.
The Western world has become disconnected from reality and from truth. Last Saturday a hyphenated American, a Filipino-American, was viciously slashed on a New York City subway by a black attacker. Protests were immediately organized against white nationalsim: “End the violence toward Asians. Let’s unite against white nationalism.” https://www.rt.com/usa/516245-new-york-asian-attack-protest/
I cannot find in any American institution or any institution in the Western world any respect for truth and any integrity. The Western world is devoid of any sustaining values. There is nothing there. It has devoured itself. Western civilization has been caricatured out of existence.
Western civilization has stamped itself out. The process began with stamping out Southern culture, literature, history and creating a false history that serves the orchestrated story of white racism. In recent days, the Virginia Military Institute was forced to remove the stature of its most famous professor—Stonewall Jackson—where it stood on the parade ground. The stature had to be removed because of the unsupportable lie that Jackson fought to preserve slavery when in documentated fact he fought because Virginig was invaded by Lincoln’s Empire Legions. https://www.lewrockwell.com/2021/02/jacob-hornberger/the-vmi-controversy/
Today like all other Southern educational institutions VMI has been destroyed. Southern university and college presidents were too weak. They were too intellectually and emotionally weak to stand up to the demonization of the South. They tried to prove their validity by staffing their institutions with graduates of Northern universities and refusing to hire their own graduates. Their weakness turned the South against itself. Southern culture has been essentially extinguished.
In the US the 14th Amendment—equal treatment under the law—has been extinguished by “affirmative action.” Today in the US only white people can be demonized without it being a hate crime. No more proof is needed that white Americans are second class citizens in the country that they built and in which they are still a majority.
The United States has had its own Kristallnacht with the lootings and burnings of businesses in many American cities encourged and forgiven by Democratic administrations that instead of punishing the criminals defunded the police and brought prosecutions against white people who defended their property. White Americans are so intimidated that it is not only the South that permits monuments to Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson to be removed, but also the entire country where all monuments even to Lincoln, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson are obliterated.
The US military, whose most effective fighting force has always been men from the South, is removing all names of bases that have Southern connections. It has always struck me as strange that the South, abused by a northern invasion, by Reconstruction, by a second Reconstruction, and now by removal of all Southern connection to the US military, has been the most effective military component in the US Army. Has the South been so deracinated that the South despite its demonization will continue to be the backbone ot the US military? Why would white males fight for a country that hates and demonizes them?
Once a people are demonized, how do they recover? Can they become a victim group and claim the protection that their enemies used against them? Not if their enemies control the explanation via the media, which they do.
Look at America today. The country has massive unemployment due to job and investment offshoring and lockdowns, and the election thief is opening the borders in order to drive wages of white people lower while building the voter rolls of Democrat voters. The Republicans as we have seen from McConnell and Romey are as anti-American as the Democrats. In America today neither political party represents the white American people who built the country and gave it civil liberty.
How can a people survive demonization and destruction of sense of self?
They cannot. And they sit there, insouciant, sucking their thumbs, sheep ready for slaughter.

Moscow Blasts "Extremely Outrageous" Strike On Syria As Biden Stays Silent
BY TYLER DURDEN
FRIDAY, FEB 26, 2021 - 13:15
As expected Russia has reacted fiercely to the overnight US airstrikes on eastern Syria, which marked the first military action of the Biden presidency, calling out what the Kremlin said is an "extremely outrageous" violation of sovereignty.
"We strongly condemn such actions and call for Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity to be unconditionally respected," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a press briefing.
Other Russian officials, including a prominent senator for foreign affairs, Sergei Tsekov, blasted the American aggression as an "extremely outrageous" move, saying further, "Now, if someone struck a blow on U.S. territory, what would that look like? They strike at the territory of a sovereign republic without the consent of Syrian leadership."
But perhaps the most interesting detail is that Russia's defense ministry was forewarned about the strike shortly before it happened. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed as much - saying the warning came a mere "minutes" before they commenced.
"This sort of warning — when strikes are already underway — gives (us) nothing," Lavrov said according to Moscow Times.
Given that over the past years since Russia's invitation by the Assad government in 2015 to assist in defeating the jihadist insurgency there's been an increasing number of rival warplanes operating over Syria's skies, the Pentagon and Russia have maintained a military-to-military hotline in order to avoid inadvertent escalations. Presumably the Russians were "warned" via this method of communication.
While little has ultimately been confirmed, regional media outlets and monitors have cited over 20 killed in the strike, which the US claims was on "Iranian-backed militias" operating in Syria.
More details of how the strike unfolded have kept rolling in throughout the day Friday...
"Specifically, the strikes destroyed multiple facilities located at a border control point used by a number of Iranian-backed militant groups, including Kata'ib Hezbollah and Kata'ib Sayyid al Shuhada," Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said.
"The operation sends an unambiguous message; President Biden will act to protect American coalition personnel. At the same time, we have acted in a deliberate manner that aims to de-escalate the overall situation in both Eastern Syria and Iraq."
But Biden himself has remained silent on the strike, which has angered a handful of Congress members questioning his basis for authorizing the unilateral attack.
Damascus for its part called the attack "cowardly" and said it will surely "escalate" the crisis in the region. "Syria condemns in the strongest terms the cowardly US aggression on areas in Deir Ez-Zor near the Syrian-Iraqi border, which is inconsistent with international law and the Charter of the United Nations. Syria warns that it [this move] will lead to consequences that will escalate the situation in the region," the country's foreign ministry said, as cited in state-run news agency SANA.

Biden hits Saudis with sanctions in Khashoggi murder — but not crown prince
By Laura ItalianoFebruary 26, 2021 | 5:32pm | Updated
America's sanctions against Saudi Arabia will not hit Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman personally.
The White House on Friday announced tough new visa restrictions and asset-freeze sanctions after a newly-declassified CIA report confirming that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman approved the murder of Jamal Khashoggi — but none of the penalties strike at the prince himself.
The son of Saudi King Salman will dodge direct penalties for the 2018 murder of the Virginia-based journalist and Saudi dissident in order to preserve America’s relationship with a key Middle East ally, administration officials said.
“The aim is a recalibration (of ties) — not a rupture,” one senior Biden official said. “That’s because of the important interests that we do share.”
Instead, both the Treasury and State departments announced sanctions against dozens of other Saudis identified as involved in Khashoggi’s murder and dismemberment inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
Under the new, so-called “Khashoggi Ban,” the U.S. will impose visa restrictions on people who engage in serious counter-dissident activities on behalf of foreign governments.
The U.S. has immediately restricted the visas of 76 Saudis “believed to have been engaged in threatening dissidents overseas, including but not limited to the Khashoggi killing,” Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said in press statement Friday.
US intel report blames Saudi crown prince for murder of Jamal Khashoggi
Those Saudis and their family members face the possible future denial of visas, Blinken said.
Meanwhile, the Treasury Department announced it has frozen the U.S. assets former deputy Saudi intelligence chief Ahmad Hassan Mohammed al Assiri, who is accused in a Turkish indictment of being the ringleader behind Khashoggi’s murder.
Also frozen are the American assets of members of Saudi Arabia’s elite rapid intervention force, which has been singled out by Friday’s declassified intelligence report for its role in Khashoggi’s killing.
After initial denials, the Saudi government eventually admitted that the 59-year-old dissident and Washington Post columnist was killed in a “rogue” extradition operation after being lured to the consulate with the promise of paperwork that would clear the way for his marriage to his Turkish fiance — but the crown prince has himself denied knowledge of the operation.

TASS: US may announce new sanctions on Russia within weeks - White House press secretary (https://tass.com/world/1260961)
WASHINGTON, February 27. /TASS/. The United States may announce additional sanctions on Russia within weeks, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters.
In response to a question when Washington would announce if there would be additional sanctions on Russia, Psaki said that it would be "weeks, not months." "It’s an ongoing process, and as you know, that process includes, of course, a review of not just their engagement in the 2020 election, but also the bounties that were reportedly on troops, and also the SolarWinds attack. There’s a number of components," the White House press secretary specified.
"We want to give the team — the cyber team, the national security team, the time to complete that process," Psaki noted. "And, of course, as in any case, the president resolve — has the option, I should say, of responding in a manner and time of his choosing, seen and unseen. But I would expect weeks, not months, before we conclude that review," she concluded.
The US intelligence community continues to investigate the SolarWinds hack, assuming that "an advanced persistent threat actor, likely of Russian origin, was responsible," US Deputy National Security Advisor for Cyber and Emerging Technology Anne Neuberger said on February 17. Russia’s authorities have repeatedly rejected Washington’s allegations about Moscow’s involvement in the cyber attack.
