Boulder shooting: Gunman kills 10, including police officer, at King Soopers


A gunman killed 10 people at a King Soopers in Boulder on Monday afternoon, the latest in a grim litany of mass shootings in Colorado — this one including among its victims a police officer who was first to respond to reports of shots fired at the grocery store.

The suspect was taken into custody, but there were few answers in the following hours. Officials said it would take days to investigate the large crime scene and to notify families that their loved ones had been killed.

The workers and shoppers who survived the violent scene in the Front Range college town fled the store any way they could — if they couldn’t, they took shelter inside — as the shots echoed.

Now that the Democrats are in charge the media can get back to the business of reporting fake events.

How do you know it is fake? It is being reported.

A judge blocked Boulder from enforcing its 2-year-old ban on assault weapons and large-capacity magazines in the city, setting up the chance for the state Supreme Court to review whether Colorado cities can create their own restrictions on gun ownership.

The suspect, 21-year-old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, of Arvada, Colorado, suffered a leg wound and was taken into custody at 3:28 p.m. Monday, the chief said.

A South Carolina senator has proposed making the militia be composed of everyone over the age of 17 to prevent the feds from taking their guns. But his proposal falls short of meeting the Constitutional requirements of a 2A Constitutional Militia because the South Carolina Constitution says the governor can call out the ‘unorganized’ unconstitutional Act Dick militia. The U.S. Constitution says the Militia will be Armed, Organized and Disciplined.
