Dentist billing ladies had my wife sign the next proposed plan for my kid. All you sign is a little black box so my wife asked for a copy of what she signed. They hesitated and said it was the same as they discussed, wife said I know but want a copy. So I will attempt to list what the plan is below as complete as it is printed. Sorry but impossible to format here.

Service Tooth fee ins
D2393 Resin Comp P50 Post 3 Surf Tooth 19 Fee 282.00 Ins 282.00
D9230 Analgesia/N2O Fee 44.00 Ins 44.00
D7971 Excision of Percoronal Gi Tooth 19 Fee 193.00 Ins 193.00

I'm no Dental billing specialist but this looks like BS. Appears they are going to fix tooth 19 and then pull it out.

What do you think?

How should I proceed?

Those are numbers. No dollar bill signs.

And what makes you believe it is your kid?

If it has a BC it belongs to the state.

And what is this about insurance? Did this happen on the ocean? Insurance is used only in Maritime law. You on dry land?

You are right not to trust them. I think many of the dentists are as bad as the doctors.

They wanted to do something to one of my teeth and told me the cost. When I got home and looked at the quote they are charging me for another tooth that I already paid for. What really gets me is they do not give receipts of work done, just an appointment card. Dentists here are all scams but this doc does good work. It's the billing ladies that do the quotes and scheduling of what gets done, when and the cost. I went to another dentist and his wife asked what dentist. She then told me that some dentists don't actually own their practices. I will check into it but never heard about what I thought was a private practice not being private.
