I don't know if this is true.I haven't seen another source for this: https://t.me/silverreportforum/23531

You won't see this on the news: So this is all kinds of wrong! Not only is this is a peaceful protest (so not breaking any laws) but the police have blocked this portion of the convoy in (front and back) with snow plows. About 250 trucks from the prairies some with young children, some with dogs.

They don't have access to fuel to keep their trucks running for heat, and volunteers have to hike in to bring food but they can't reach all of them. The police are not allowing them to leave their trucks or to turn around. They are holding them hostage.

I had to go to the protest to see for myself. What I was told was happening by people there was much different than what I was being told was happening by Canadian fake news. According to Rebel reporters Kian Simone and Syd Fizzard, who have been on the scene of the stand-off since late last night, despite a winter storm and near-zero visibility, the protesters have voted to remain. Should they do so, they face fines $10,000 for a first offence or $25,000, as well as jail time.

Trudeau made the remarks during a remote press conference from an undisclosed location in response to a demonstration in Ottawa, ON, of truckers and other protesters opposed to vaccine mandates.

The prime minister repeatedly framed vaccines as the only “way out of this pandemic.”

“The vast majority of Canadians know that [protesting] is not how we can end this pandemic,” he claimed. “The way out of this pandemic is getting vaccinated. It’s listening to public health advice, and the best way to get out of this pandemic and to continue to be there for each other is to show that we understand the importance of following science, facts, and health experts. That’s how we’ll get out of this pandemic.”

Despite claiming to have received two doses of coronavirus vaccines and a “booster,” Trudeau said he had “tested positive for Covid-19” and will be “working remotely” for the week.

A Canadian elected official in Ottawa allegedly deleted a tweet appearing to outline a plan to legally target the millions of dollars raised in support of the “Freedom Convoy” of truckers protesting a vaccine mandate.

“This morning, I have asked the city manager and city solicitor to immediately launch court proceedings targeting the millions of dollars in funds frozen by @GoFundMe so Ottawa taxpayers are not left holding the bag for these protests,” Ottawa City Councilor of Rideau-Vanier Ward Mathieu Fleury allegedly tweeted Monday, according to screen shots posted to Twitter.

The tweet was deleted before noon on Monday. Fox News examined Fleury’s Twitter account Monday morning and found it was restricted to only allow “approved followers” to see his tweets. It is unclear when Fleury protected his Twitter account.

Fox News reportedly contacted Fleury’s office multiple times since Monday, including on email and by phone, but did not receive a reply. Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson also did not return Fox News’s requests for comment when contacted via email and on voicemail concerning the alleged deleted tweet. Fox News was unable to independently verify the authenticity of the tweet.

The GoFundMe page for the Freedom Convoy 2022 shows over $9 million has been raised since it was established on Jan. 14.

News stories began circulating last week reporting that the GoFundMe page was frozen and organizers needed to outline how the millions of dollars in raised funds would be spent.

A GoFundMe spokesperson told Fox News Digital on Monday that organizers did detail how the funds would be spent and that they withdrew $1 million to support their effort.

“The trust and safety of our global community is our top priority. That is why we’re following our standard verification process and working directly with the campaign organizer to ensure the funds are distributed as stated by the organizer and in compliance with the law and our Terms of Service.”

Another organizer of the convoy said at the group’s first press conference on Sunday that mainstream media outlets were reporting a “purely just a fake story” regarding the fundraising page that was “probably” working to “sabotage the donations that were coming in.”

The Freedom Convoy of truckers left Vancouver for Ottawa on Jan. 23 to protest the federal government’s vaccine mandates for cross-border truckers and is calling for an end to coronavirus restrictions. The convoy reached Ottawa this weekend and was joined by thousands of other Canadians protesting the mandates.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau slammed the protestors in a virtual news conference on Monday for allegedly spewing “hateful rhetoric.”

I really don't care to hear from Hollywood types about important social issues. They may be good at their craft of acting and the performing arts, but they are generally vacuous on prominent social issues and just chime in with their comments to boost their aged waning careers.

If all the truckers are protesting in the cities, and their trucks are not delivering products at all, wouldn’t this put more of a strain on the dwindling food supply in the stores?

Is the POS government Going to use this trucker strike as reason why the shelves are empty?

I tend to agree with your thinking. When I realized the trucks aren’t running through here like the were before the Canadian Protest I decided I had better get what I could from the local Raley’s grocery store. Yesterday morning I went early to the store expecting to see bare shelves. Much to my surprise everything was well stocked. Raley’s is a Sacramento based company. They have their own fleet of truck to service their stores.

Convoy parks in Ottawa, demands end to cross-border vaccine passports

OTTAWA — Jubilant truckers occupying the streets around Parliament Hill vowed to remain with their parking brakes firmly engaged as the freedom convoy protest approached its second weekend in Ottawa.

“We’re willing to stay until the end — months, it doesn’t matter,” DJ Wassenaar, a cash-cropper and co-owner of a related trucking and construction company from Jarvis, Ontario, told Farmers Forum.

Wassenaar arrived back at home in the southwestern Ontario town Jan. 31, after four nights parked near the epicentre of the protest at the head of Wellington, across from the Hill. One of his employees, a fellow fervent believer in the cause, took over minding the Kenworth tractor with sleeper cabin.
Wassenaar said he’s prepared to go back to the Nation’s Capital to relieve his employee.

The wheels could be removed from the truck if necessary to prevent it from being towed — a tactic other truckers are considering as well, he said.
“The pressure’s on, the energy is great,” Wassenaar exclaimed, clearly enthused at what he witnessed both driving to Ottawa and upon arrival. “It was cold, but it did not stop the people from coming out. They were incredible. They were warriors out there.”

If not for their masks, he said, the police officers on scene wouldn’t be able to hide their otherwise clear “excitement” and smiles at the rally.
He reported meeting recent immigrants who told him they were even more proud to be Canadian than on the day they took the oath of citizenship.
And contrary to media reports, he recounted a great welcome from the community. Donated food kept both himself and another employee fed. “People were walking up to my cab with coffee,” he said, “and I had the best beef burritos of my life.”

A hockey coach with access to a hotel room allowed truckers to use the washroom and shower facilities, he said.

Wassenaar also reported receiving enough e-transfers from supportive individuals and friends to defray all costs to date associated with having his truck in Ottawa. “It hasn’t cost me a cent.”

Ensuring all of those trucks don’t run out of fuel is a crucial next step, he suggested, adding that guys were talking about using side-by-side ATVs to haul jerry cans already being used to fetch diesel up to the machines.

Kevin Veurink, a cash crop farmer from Hagersville, explained that a fuel tank pulled up a few blocks away, behind a police barricade. He and others use a wheelbarrow to bring filled-up jerry cans back to their trucks.

Veurink’s transport is parked directly in front of Parliament Hill, on Wellington Street, draped in a Canadian flag and a sign that reads, “God keep our land glorious and free.”

“Everyone in my group from Western Ontario is going to stick it out until the job gets done,” he said, echoing Wassenaar.

He added that if they are still there in the spring, he will leave the truck in good hands to come home, plant crops and then return to the Hill.

Veurink called out the mainstream news media for tarnishing the freedom convoy with distorted facts. “It’s very positive here,” he said. “That’s how you bring a country together. I hear there are more trucks coming.”

Veurink said he spends a lot of time in the truck and his new trucker friends with rooms in nearby hotels, sharing keys with him so he can shower. Free food is everywhere. Barbecues set up on the streets offer farmers free burgers, hotdogs and even pancakes. Supporters pass around bottled water, Gatorade, apples, bananas, chocolate bars, coffee and cupcakes. There are so many supporters with so much food that Veurink says he has to turn down about half of what he is offered.

Blenheim-based Chris Van De Wiele, at the wheel of a transport pulling a sailboat, said he was willing to stay in Ottawa “as long as it takes … till the job is fulfilled.”

“This is to protect all Canadians from government overreach, to stand for choice,” the Kent Farm Supply employee said, adding that participants are “not here for violence or destruction.”

“We are here to take back Canada for the people. This is not about crossing borders as the mainstream media would like the people to believe with their government-funded media machine.”

He said he was graciously hosted at the home of an Arnprior couple who recently fed him breakfast and did his laundry.

Freedom Convoy Attorney Has 'Disturbing' Update on Canadian Government Activity

On Friday, the crowdsourcing platform GoFundMe, at the behest of the Ottawa Police, seized over $10 million in charitable contributions that were meant for the Freedom Convoy 2022 organizers.

Later that day, an attorney working with the Freedom Convoy organizers named Keith Wilson delivered a chilling statement about what they were up against.

“It’s Friday, February 4th,” Wilson said. “And I’m speaking to you from the hotel at the center of the truckers freedom convoy in downtown Ottawa.”

“Over the past year, the federal government in Canada or prime minister, Trudeau has taken away Canadians’ charter rights, constitutional rights to travel freely, has taken away truckers’ rights to travel, their mobility rights, their ability to make a living under the constitution for those who’ve chosen to be unvaccinated,” he continued.

“This afternoon, the chief of the city police for Ottawa made announcements that are disturbing and should trouble Canadians and those around the world who support this trucker protest for freedom,” the lawyer added. “The police chief essentially announced an assault on the protestors. He announced that very specific measures that we normally only see instituted by oppressive regimes around the world would be initiated. He effectively announced that he is going to be taking away Canadian’s charter right of peaceful assembly and freedom of expression.”

“We are being censored,” he said. “Please get this out to the world.”

On Friday, Ottawa police said they are “stepping up measures to protect downtown neighbourhoods,” according to CTV News Ottawa.

“Chief Peter Sloly announced a new ‘surge and contain strategy’ Friday that he said would ‘restore order, hold offenders to account and protect our neighbourhoods’,” CTV News Ottawa added.

“The strategy includes sending 150 more officers to affected neighbourhoods to target unlawful behaviour connected to the ongoing occupation, which is a protest against COVID-19 mandates,” the report noted.

“The surge will deliver a clear message to the demonstrators: the lawlessness must end,” Chief Sloly said.

“The new measures also include barricading the protest ‘red zone’ using hundreds of concrete and heavy-equipment barricades, cutting off access to the downtown core for more vehicles,” CTV Ottawa continued. “Sloly said this will further isolate and contain the demonstration.”

“Incoming vehicles will be directed to designated parking zones outside the downtown core, and vehicles parked illegally will be ticketed and towed,” the report said. “Police said they may close highways, interprovincial bridges and major roadways to keep vehicles out of downtown. The city released a full list of road closures Friday afternoon.”

“Deputy Chief Steve Bell said police are expecting 300 to 400 trucks to try to enter the downtown core throughout the weekend, along with up to 2,000 people on foot,” the report added. “He also said police are expecting about 1,000 counter-protesters.”

“Bell said he understands residents’ frustration, but asked counter-protesters not to come downtown this weekend,” the report noted.

“We would like to not have that to be another dynamic we have to manage,” he said. “Let us successfully work to restore the trust and confidence in the police, restore feelings of safety and security in the neighbourhood, by being able to deploy our resources.”

‘There are about 200 to 250 trucks parked in the city right now,’ he said.

“Police say they have also increased efforts to identify protesters who are funding and enabling unlawful activity,” CTV Ottawa reported.

“The hatred, violence, and illegal acts that Ottawa residents and businesses have endured over the last week is unacceptable in any circumstance,” Sloly said.

“The current occupation of the Parliamentary Precinct remains unresolved despite significant success in reducing the number of trucks/demonstrators while preventing riots, injuries and death. We take no solace in these operational successes,” he added.

Rebel News reported that crime in the area of the protests is actually lower than what is typical for Ottawa.

“The crime rate in Ottawa, however, has declined during the convoy’s occupation as reported Friday morning in Blacklock’s Reporter”:

The truckers’ blockade covers ten square blocks in the Centretown district. Preliminary police data show street crime fell sharply in the district since the protest began last Friday.

The district saw 31 police calls for robbery, assault, drug trafficking, public drunkenness, stolen vehicles, store break-ins and other crimes in the week prior to the protest. There were three reports of street crime since the protest began for mischief, robbery and auto theft. Police yesterday said data were incomplete.

“This is all new territory for them, and not something they ever saw coming,” said one party insider. “They figured that these COVID measures would continue as long as needed, but yeah, it was a shock to the system when they saw the convoy and the number of people cheering them on.”

Another source highlighted the extent to which Trudeau is struggling to cope with the truckers’ convoy; a protest that has inspired millions across the world and promised to continue until all COVID-19 mandates are lifted.

Trudeau has amped his rhetoric ag ainst the truckers’ protest in recent days, falsely labelling attendees as “racist, homophonic and misogynist”. However, this language is clearly a ploy to tarnish the image of the protesters to whip up public opposition to their cause.

We at Elect Conservatives are proud of the men and women in Ottawa who are protesting for our freedoms and fighting the medical tyranny that has gripped Canada over the past two years. The fact that Trudeau is struggling to cope with the onslaught of support for the truckers – and that numerous provinces have announced that COVID restrictions will be eliminated in the coming weeks – shows that the convoy is working brilliantly.

Sitting in a local Timmy's right now far from Ottawa watching a local convoy drive by, flags flying (many upside down) and horns honking. Hundreds of vehicles! Over 5 minutes since the start and they are still driving past!

This time on Saturday was normally the day for the last several months several dozen people would gather on a local overpass to protest the vaccines and restrictions.

And therein lies the current danger.

There is a narrow window — a month or two, maybe — for governments to declare “victory over the virus” and roll back their segregation systems, mask-wearing mandates, “vaccine” mandates, and the rest of the so-called “Covid restrictions.” Many governments are already doing so, England, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Ireland, etc.

They have seen which way the wind is blowing, and they are rushing to dismantle the New Normal in their countries before … well, you know, before a convoy of angry truckers arrives at their doors.

If they let that happen, they will find themselves in the unenviable position that Trudeau is now in. The Canadian truckers appear to be serious about staying there until their demands are met, which means Trudeau only has two options:

give in to the truckers’ demands, or
attempt to remove them by force. There’s already talk about bringing in the military (https://edition.cnn.com/2022/02/02/americas/ottawa-trucker-protest-military-help/index.html). Imagine what an unholy mess that would be. Odds are, the military would disobey his orders, and, if not, the world would be treated to the spectacle of full-blown New Normal Fascism in action.

Either way, Trudeau is history, as long as the truckers stand their ground. I pray they do not give an inch, and I hope the leaders of other New Normal countries, like Australia, Germany, Austria, Italy, and France, are paying close attention.

The force tweeted Sunday that anyone trying to bring material support for the truckers could have the cuffs slapped on them.

Later Sunday the city declared a state of emergency.

But it’s not exactly clear what law supporters would break by trying to bring in supplies.

Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson has had enough of the truckers.

As of this writing, I’m told the police are making arrests in Ottawa (https://www.rebelnews.com/breaking_police_begin_arresting_convoy_protestors_ outside_parliament). I assume this means they’re arresting truckers.
The Ottawa city government has declared a state of emergency. It’s now a crime for anyone on the scene to give food, fuel, or aid of any kind to the truckers.

The truckers and people all over Canada want freedom and peace. The government wants peace without freedom.
The government wants vaccine mandates and passports, and the ability to declare lockdowns and other fascist measures at any time.

No debate on “the science,” no need to justify the COVID measures, no legal cases taking up Constitutional limits on government power. Just: OBEY.

So that’s what the government is. That’s who they are. That’s who Trudeau is.

We might feel shock at what the government is doing to the truckers, but we shouldn’t be surprised. No one should have expected the government of “obey us” to just sit back and let this convoy happen and proceed, with so many Canadians supporting it.

No one should be surprised that rebellion against “obey us” governments is breaking out across the world.
Let’s get out ahead of what could happen in the coming days and weeks—-

No one with a conscience should back away if governments and their media front men throw around words like “insurrection” and “incitement” and “terrorism.” THESE ARE CONTROL WORDS.

They’re meant to paralyze people. They’re crude smears. The implication would be, anyone who is “a trucker” or a “supporter” wants to overthrow the entire government—rather than replace the fascists.

“Overthrow” was the official characterization of the January 6 Capitol break-in, in the US. “Well, led by a guy wearing a helmet and horns, a mob was going to take over the Congress.”

I see. Sure. And Trump, wearing a military uniform, having gained control over the PENTAGON, was going to swagger into the Capitol, declare martial law, and run the US with his junta.

Thereafter, The Rebels, commanded by a cigar-smoking fatigues-wearing Tony Fauci, encamped in the Catskills, would valiantly try to win back The Republic and the Constitution.

The truckers want freedom and peace, and their own right to earn a living. The Canadian government wants peace without freedom for everyone, and they’re ready to use force to force the peace.

If serious violence breaks out in Ottawa, the government will be behind it.

Violence shouldn’t make people back away from supporting the truckers.

Perhaps you noticed that the George Floyd protests and riots and the looting and burning and violence in many US cities didn’t make anyone on the political Left back away from supporting the rioters.

Did the government call those supporters insurrectionists or terrorists?

You might hear this from people “who are really in the know”: “You see, the whole convoy was a PLAN to cause violence, and then anyone who’s against the mandates and supports the truckers would be labeled a terrorist…”
Without real evidence, that formulation could be used to reject ANY form of mass protest on ANY issue. You may as well say ALL OF LIFE IS A FALSE FLAG, and therefore, we should do nothing and support nothing.

If serious violence does break out in Ottawa, a typical shaming operation will launch: “You people who supported the truckers—you’re responsible for this. You thought the truckers were honorable. But they were always breaking the law. They were stirred up by a mob mentality, by you who won’t accept the reality of the pandemic and what we all have to do to return to normal life…”

Guilt by association, except it turns out the people we’re associated with—the truckers—did nothing wrong.

Again, if anyone has actual evidence to the contrary, evidence that shows there was a plan to launch a convoy that would dead-end in violence, and cause the world to shake its head and say, “THIS is what the protesters and the anti-vaxxers were about all along, they’re all crazy…”, then present that evidence.

I say this, because in the coming days, we could see and hear more of such talk.

What I see in this convoy is honor, justice, the struggle for freedom.

Remember: The convoy is a hell of a lot more than the truckers.

It’s all the Canadians who are supporting it. So if a trucker is there simply because he wants to make a living, but he can’t cross the border unless he shows a vaccine passport, and he doesn’t want to take the vaccine, and that’s the sum of his protest; fine.

And if some trucker turns out to be bad actor, so what?

GET OUT AHEAD OF ALL THIS.

Get all these things straight in your mind, because if the presence of many people and trucks in Ottawa endures, you’re going to be WORKED by some experienced PR pros; worked to change your thoughts and opinions and feelings.

That’s their job. That’s how they operate.

Stand firm. Stay strong.

Make your voice heard.

Violence is always a government’s hole card. They play it, and then they say the rebels caused it or made it necessary. They splash the violence on the news, because they know it scares many people, who then retreat.
Don’t retreat.

Violence serves another purpose. People want it to stop, so they look to the current political leadership to stop it. They join forces with the fascists who started or triggered the violence.

Don’t fall for that.

If among all the truckers, there are a few bad actors who are government agents, and they do initiate violence, the news will highlight them to the max. This is pure Orwell 1984 stuff. Put pictures of the faces of “the killers” on the screen, over and over, with anchor voiceover telling the public what to see and think and feel. With the goal of stimulating outrage.

Outrage against everyone who supports the truckers or won’t take the vaccine or is opposed to the mandates.
Don’t buy that op.

Stay strong. Stand firm.

Remember what this is. A fight for freedom.

Here’s something else that could happen. The government suddenly announces a new wave of COVID cases. And the blame is directed at the throngs of unmasked truckers and their supporters out in the streets. Super-spreaders. The news, of course, would play that up. By accusation and indirect suggestion, the public will be told THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICIALS FEARED.

The unmonitored numbers of irresponsible persons rebelling against common sense are responsible for KILLING ordinary law-abiding citizens.

That’s a straight con. During the past two years, it’s been played many times.

Don’t be fooled. Case numbers can be rigged at the drop of a hat. That’s been going on since the beginning of the “pandemic.”

Stand firm.

The pandemic story was planned with the sole purpose of canceling freedom.

Yours, mine, everybody’s.

Don’t give in.

Don’t allow yourself to be manipulated.

No matter what.

One more suggestion. Play out, in your mind, a worst-case scenario: The convoy WAS planned by bad actors with the intent to discredit actual freedom fighters and people who refuse the vaccine and oppose the COVID mandates and restrictions. Go ahead. Make a mind-movie of that.

Where does that lead you? What’s the bottom line?

It’s SO WHAT?

Because all the people on the streets and in the trucks ARE for freedom; and if the outcome is planned government-caused violence, that means NOTHING about what we’re fighting for. That discredits NOTHING.

If we stay strong.

If we stand up.

If we make our voices heard.

I could write 10,000 more words about a parallel event to the convoy, but I’ll keep it short. The parallel event was the January 6 rally in Washington after the Presidential election, the rally that had nothing to do with the Capitol break-in. Where hundreds of thousands of people gathered.

There were a number of ideas in the minds of all those people: a stolen election; freedom from lockdowns and other fascist COVID restrictions; opposition to the vaccine; opposition to the self-appointed thought-police of America…

In my opinion, Trump didn’t deserve that massive show of loyalty. Not at all. I’ve explained why in other articles. But the people who were there—they were the important ones. Regardless of who planned the break-in and for what reasons. THEY, the hundreds of thousands, wanted freedom. And still do.

The US government is trying to figure out every possible way to discredit and cancel them. Now.

This is the bigger picture.

Keep your eye on it.

I know. I’m not supposed to bring up the January 6 rally. People who want freedom are supposed to forget that. Hush hush. Because THAT event has been slammed mercilessly and discredited and made into a foul horror show.

The Leger survey of 1,546 adults was carried out between Feb. 4 to 6. No margin of error can be assigned because web-based polls are not considered random samples.

The survey found that 65 per cent thought the trucker convoy in Ottawa was a "small minority of Canadians who are thinking only about themselves and not the thousands of Canadians who are suffering through delayed surgeries and postponed treatments because of the growing pandemic."

Fifty-seven per cent thought the convoy was not about vaccine mandates but "an opportunity for right-wing supremacist groups to rally and voice their frustrations about society."

Just over half of Canadians polled said they found the convoy in Ottawa "scary" because it reminded them of the storming of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington last year. Only 23 per cent strongly agreed with this statement.

However, 44 per cent of those polled agreed with the statement: "I am vaccinated against COVID-19 but I do sympathize with the concerns and frustrations being voiced by people involved in the trucker protest in Ottawa."

The same proportion agreed that the prime minister and premiers "share the blame for the protest in Ottawa because of their condescending attitude toward Canadians who disagree with vaccine mandates and lockdowns."

New polling is looking bad for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The latest Maru poll, conducted from February 9-10, shows that only 16% of Canadians would vote for the prime minister based on the last two weeks, Edmonton Journal reported Saturday. “The last time I’ve seen numbers even close to this were in the final days of Brian Mulroney,” slammed John Wright, executive vice-president of Maru Public Opinion. “I think this could cost him his job.”

Wright suggested Trudeau’s numbers are tanking because the “Canadian public sees that our democracy is at threat and the very institutions that are supposed to be doing things about it are largely impotent,” adding, “I don’t think the prime minister gets it.”

But polling shows Canadians are turning hard against COVID-19 mandates and restrictions.

“A new Angus Reid Institute poll has found that 54 per cent of Canadians now support an immediate end to all COVID restrictions in favour of treating the disease more like the flu,” the journal reported, noting that “the Trudeau government has resolutely refused to offer anything but minor relaxations to federal strictures.”

Despite Trudeau’s recent dismissal of the Freedom Convoy as “fringe,” protesters demanding freedom from heavy-handed COVID-19 restriction and vaccine mandates have become the issue for the leader.

On Thursday, Trudeau threatened to do “whatever it takes” to crack down on the freedom protesters blocking passages along the U.S.-Canada border, The Daily Wire reported.

“Prime Minister Justin Trudeau convened the Incident Response Group on the ongoing illegal blockades taking place across the country that are threatening trade, jobs, the economy, and our communities,” a statement from the PM’s office said. “He was joined by ministers and senior officials who are actively engaged and working closely with provincial and municipal governments, and who are assessing the requirements and deploying all federal resources necessary to help them get the situation under control.”

“The group committed to continue providing federal resources to support enforcement efforts in Ottawa where the occupation has significantly disrupted local residents’ lives, impacting businesses and families with harassment, threats of violence, and vandalism,” Trudeau’s office continued. “They reiterated that the federal government has and will continue to respond to all requests for appropriate support and resources.”

Ontario premier Doug Ford targeted protesters blocking the Ambassador Bridge, too.

“There will be consequences for these actions, and they will be severe,” Ford threatened during the week, accusing protesters of “sieging” Ottawa.
Authorities cracked down on the protesters Saturday morning.

Notably, those protesting in Ontario are facing harsh penalties for remaining on the bridge — including fines up to a whopping $100,000 and a year behind bars.

This measure comes in response to demonstrations in Ottawa and across the country regarding COVID-19 restrictions, including vaccine mandates. I urge you to instead approach this situation by listening to the demands of countless Canadians and removing the restrictions provincially. Many provinces have begun doing so. Please defend our democracy and civil liberties. Canadian banks have begun freezing assets of those who have donated to the aforementioned demonstrations and their personal information is being shared. The Emergencies Act will legalize a further invasion of privacy, which is a dangerous slippery slope. Trudeau has also suspended Parliament, violating the law requiring uninterrupted debate concerning the implementation of a new emergency power.

You have the opportunity to represent Canadians in Parliament and defend us against a severe overreach of power. I urge you to vote against the Emergencies Act and to represent your constituents.

Amid loud pops, Rebel News's Quebec-based reporter Alexa Lavoie was directly hit by police during the melee, injuring her.

Prior to the melee, at least two police officers can be seen accidentally dropping some of their less-lethal firearms and attempting to pick them back up as other officers push back the line.

According to police early Saturday, officers will attempt to retake more streets from demonstrators in the city’s downtown core, where more than 100 checkpoints remain to keep more protestors from entering Ottawa.

"I just spoke with Alexa Lavoie, our brave reporter who was just assaulted by Trudeau's police," said Ezra Levant. "She tells me a cop hit her three times with a club and then shot a tear gas canister at her leg from point-blank range. Trudeau has instructed his police to attack journalists."

"Alexa says she was specifically targeted by a cop who saw her camera. She says he came up to her and beat her and pushed her down. She says he tried to knock the phone out of her hands, to stop her from filming," Levant added, noting that police were captured on film beating a woman with a stick, and shooting her at point-blank range with a tear gas round.

"I have spoken with Alexa and with legal counsel. We will sue the police on Alexa's behalf. I know the rest of the Media Party is delighting at Trudeau's brutality and martial law. But we still believe in peace and freedom," said Levant.

In what appear to be authentic screenshots of the RCMP Musical Ride team currently in Ottawa to assist in the crackdown on peaceful protesters in the capital city, members brag about using brutal force.

Over the last 24 hours in Ottawa, police have deployed pepper spray and canisters on demonstrators, arrested dozens and trampled two people with horses.

In 1992, Klaus Schwab and World Economic Forum launched a program initially called Global Leaders of Tomorrow. In 2004, this program was turned into the Forum for Young Global Leaders (which I cover in my book The Global Coup D’Etat) – a 5-year program of indoctrination into WEFs principles and goals. The aim was – and is – to find suitable future leaders for the emerging global society. The program has since its inception has included politicians, business leaders, royalty, journalists, performers and other cultural influencers who have excelled in their fields but have not yet turned 40 years of age (originally 43 in order to include Angela Merkel). It has since grown into an extensive global network of dedicated leaders with enormous resources and influence, all working to implement the technocratic plans of the World Economic Forum in their respective nations and fields.

The network creates a force for worldwide influence through the combination of the individual skills and resources of its members.
As Klaus Schwab says in the introductory quote, it has become very successful. Already in the first year, 1992, a number of highly influential candidates were elected. The purpose from the beginning has been to “identify and advance a future-oriented global agenda, focusing on issues at the intersection of the public and private sectors.” Public–Private Partnerships is one of the cornerstones of the World Economic Forum philosophy. That is, a merger between state and large companies (also known as corporativism) with the aim of solving global problems of in a more “effective” way. The choice of leaders clearly reflects this aspiration.

The Young Global Leaders group was initially instructed to identify the major challenges of the 21st century. These included peace, the environment, education, technology and health – areas which these upcoming leaders could exploit politically, economically, and culturally in the new millennium.

Partners for Global Leaders of Tomorrow in 2000 were large global companies such as The Coca Cola Company, Ernst & Young, Volkswagen, and BP Amoco. These could contribute to the agenda by “playing an active role in developing and implementing the concept of the GLT project. The partners can therefore actively participate in the development of GLT programs; representatives of the partner companies as well as their guests are invited to GLT meetings .. ” Since the Global Leaders of Tomorrow was turned into Young Global Leaders 2004, partners such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Google, and JPMorganChase (with alumni from the program) have also participated as sponsors.

The ultimate consequence of both public–private partnerships and these target areas is the creation of a largely fascist social contract in which the individual has become subordinated to these powerful interests. Noble goals of creating a better world have also been kidnapped. This is especially evident in the context of the partnership between the WEF and the UN and the implementation of the global goals (Agenda 2030) through the application of the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

This means that the democratic principles and division of power of the 20th century have largely been completely undermined and instead replaced by a new global class that shapes our common future based on their own interests. This has led to a de facto privatisation of both national governments and international organisations, where lobbyists are no longer kept in the lobby but have moved into the seat of power, shaping policies directly affecting our lives. What this means has become particularly evident since the pandemic was declared in March 2020. In addition, leading multinational investment management corporations such as BlackRock, led by the World Economic Forum’s own Larry Fink, have constantly moved their positions forward.

German economist and journalist Ernst Wolff believes that many of the national leaders included in the Young Global Leader program have been selected for their willingness to carry out the tough agenda of lockdowns in recent years without asking any questions, and that their impending failure (as evidenced by in a growing dissatisfaction of the masses) will be used as an excuse to create a new form of Global Government where the old nation states become largely obsolete. A new global digital currency with Universal Basic Income (UBI) can then be gradually introduced to replace our doomed monetary system.[3] This conclusion partly coincides with my own. It is also supported by Paul Raskin‘s scenarios from The Great Transition Initiative on how a totalitarian “New Earth Order” is established, to be replaced in the long run by a global democratic government (Earth Federation) with a World Constitution.[4]

The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the catastrophic failure of an every-country-for-itself approach to public health, and national economic interests, rather than global needs, continue to dominate discussions of climate policy, paving the path toward climate chaos.

The vision is that a peaceful and harmonious world in balance is created through the establishment of a World Federation with a World Parliament, World Government and a World Court. These are ideas that have long circulated in Club of Rome and closely connected New Age circles. The question is how such a new global system of power would escape the fate of being kidnapped by the same interests that created our current corrupt and failing system? This is in view of those who support projects such as The Great Transition (initiated with start-up capital from Steven Rockefeller). What is happening is rather a method of taking us to their ultimate solution in the form of a global technocratic control system.

However, it is highly unlikely that this plan will succeed. Awareness is spreading like wildfire and the panic of the elite increases as their narrative crumbles and people become more and more immune to the propaganda. Hence all the inquisitors and “fact checkers” who diligently gatekeep the narrative and help steer public opinion in the “right” direction. They are surely to be trusted since, for example, David Roy Thomson, Chairman of the Thomson Reuters Corporation, is an alumni of Global Leaders of Tomorrow, class of 1993.

It is now time to take control of our own destinies and to avoid falling into new traps.

In the bigger picture, the Canadian banking and financial system was hit hard by the deployment of the Emergency Act which highlighted the ability of the government to arbitrarily freeze and seize money, assets and financial investment capital without any due process.

There are also strong rumors in the financial sector, that in addition to Canadians removing money from the banking system, previous investment funds from Hong Kong had been moved – and, making matters even worse, digital currency exchanges were no longer offering secure services in Canada.

Simultaneous to the mounting domestic and international backlash against the financial system, the Canadian Senate was likely to rebuke the government of Justin Trudeau and not support the invocation of the Emergency War Measures Act against Canadian citizens.

As a result of multiple issues of backlash with severe consequence, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his cabinet are trying to save face, and yet walk away from the Emergency War Measures Act by revoking it before they faced the humiliation of a public defeat in the Canadian Senate. After his prepared remarks about his reversal in position, Trudeau was softly questioned about internal documents discovered by the Canadian Senate that point toward Trudeau’s cabinet discussing the political benefits they would gain by invoking the Emergency Act. The prime minister dodged the question twice, instead saying a parliamentary investigation will review why the Emergency Act was needed.

Keep an eye on the story of this Senate discovery. From all indications, even the liberal allies of Trudeau in the Senate were unable to support the Emergency Act after they reviewed the non-public documents. There’s something very damaging in those documents, likely internal emails between Trudeau and his various ministers.

Yep, Canada’s banking system is seeing their reputation turn negative in a big way. This may be impossible to turn around. I would have thought that Canada’s elite would have seen this situation coming but they were too drunk on their own power to think what the consequences of this Emergency Action might be.

When the Canadian Justice Minister Says Trump Supporters Should worry about having their bank accounts frozen, and has the unilateral power to do so bypassing any court or legal system, one can reasonably be concerned this can include anyone who voted Republican or, in this woke age, potentially any corporation with a CEO or board of director (etc.) with a conservative tweet.

The Canada Parliament appears to be in the process of giving Fidel Jr. a 30 day extension of the Emergency Act with the senate, most being appointed by Fidel Jr, sure to approve the extension.

I am a little confused because I thought Fidel Jr. was ruined and surrendered as of yesterday evening. I guess none of us realized how infiltrated with communists Canadian government is.

It appears Canada is indeed "Fallen." Very sad.

Another convoy of anti-mandate protesters descended on the B.C. legislature Saturday, gathering on the lawn to voice opposition to COVID-19-related public health orders.

The organizers of the event, a group called We Unify Canada, said earlier in the week that they expected it to be the "largest pro-democracy rally in the history of Victoria."

Online livestreams of the event showed a massive turnout, much larger than the estimated 200 people or so that Victoria police said attended a similar rally last weekend.

It was not immediately clear how many people turned out for Saturday's event, but the crowd looked comparable in size to the previous We-Unify-Canada-organized protest at the legislature on Jan. 29.

Victoria police estimated between 4,000 and 5,000 people attended that January event.

Large crowds have been gathering at the legislature weekly ever since to protest vaccine and mask mandates and demand freedoms they say have been taken away during the pandemic.

While some provinces have ended their vaccine passport systems and mask mandates - or announced timelines for doing so - B.C. has so far not followed suit.

B.C. health officials are set to lay out a timeline for when mask mandates and the province's proof-of-vaccination system can end on Thursday, March 10.

Adrian Dix, minister of health, and Dr. Bonnie Henry, B.C.'s provincial health officer, will provide the highly-anticipated update to the province at 12:30 p.m. PT.

Mask mandates have been in effect across the province since the summer of 2021, while proof-of-vaccination has been mandatory in many settings since September.

B.C. is the last province in Canada to announce its plans on lifting COVID-19 restrictions.
