Someone who has the foresight to establish how the ransom is to be paid before actually being kidnapped.

A sovereign tends to be an over thinker who idolizes advance preparation even though the preparation creates the ideal conditions necessary for the event being prepared for.

An example might be Ukraine who, in preparing for war with Russia, created the conditions where war with Russia was inevitable.

Agents are attracted to sovereigns like moths to a flame. Placing a sovereign in check (aka kidnapping when a mistake is made and a non-sovereign is targeted) results in ransom. Ransom is the holy grail of agency.

While the sovereign is in check the agent is free to proclaim the sovereign authority and act as the representative of the sovereign. Law identifies this pseudo-authority by the name
DE FACTO. A DE FACTO agent provides no oath, no bond and has unlimited personal liability without the means to make his victim(s) whole.

How to identify an Agent?

Their language.

They are preoccupied with dollars. Dollars are their religion. Their universe is filled with dollars. They work for dollars. Their survival is dollars. They vacation with dollars. They tip in dollars.
