No compunction whatsoever, just like her fellow travelers.

Expect to see more of this as the Marist International Communists (captured western public servants and politicians), Davos crowd, corporate journalism, etc. that just ran a unscientific democidal scamdemic fraud against their citizens are going to start blaming 'science.' lol
theguardian.com: Sunak says it was a mistake to ‘empower scientists’ during Covid pandemic (https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/aug/24/sunak-says-it-was-a-mistake-to-empower-scientists-during-covid-pandemic)
24 Aug 2022
Rishi Sunak has claimed that it was a mistake to “empower scientists” during the coronavirus pandemic and that his opposition to closing schools was met with silence during one meeting.
The Conservative leadership candidate believes one of the major errors was allowing the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage) to have so much influence on decision making such as closing nurseries, schools and colleges in March 2020.
Sunak also disclosed that he was banned from discussing the “trade-offs” of imposing coronavirus-related restrictions...
In an interview with the Spectator to be published on Saturday, the former chancellor said: “We shouldn’t have empowered the scientists in the way we did. And you have to acknowledge trade-offs from the beginning.
“If we’d done all of that, we could be in a very different place. We’d probably have made different decisions on things like schools.”
Schools in the UK shut with the exception of those for looking after the children of keyworkers and vulnerable children. Some schools started to reopen in August 2020.
Sunak’s remarks came a few days after he praised British scientists and pledged to set up a multibillion-pound research programme if he became prime minister after the exclusion of British scientists from EU funding...
“I was like: ‘Forget about the economy – surely we can all agree that kids not being in school is a major nightmare.’
“There was a big silence afterwards. It was the first time someone had said it. I was so furious.”
He said that minutes from Sage meetings were edited, which resulted in opposing opinions being omitted from the final draft. Sunak added: “Those meetings were literally me around that table, just fighting. It was incredibly uncomfortable every single time.”
Sunak said Sage advisers were unaware for “a very long time that there was a Treasury person on all their calls”.
He revealed that his Treasury official briefed him on what was said during the meetings and what was omitted by telling him “actually, it turns out that lots of people disagreed with that conclusion” or “here are the reasons that they were not sure about it”.

thesun.co.uk: SANCS A LOT Welcome to sanction-hit Russia, where prices are DOWN as Brits suffer from soaring inflation (https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/19698308/russia-uk-prices-sanctions-food/)
3 Sep 2022
After Russia invaded Ukraine in February, Boris Johnson vowed that Western sanctions (https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/17734157/what-sanctions-will-russia-face/) would “hobble the Russian economy”.
In March, Liz Truss as Foreign Secretary announced 65 sanctions (https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/17904413/what-are-sanctions/) and fiercely declared: “Putin should be under no illusions. We are united with our allies and will keep tightening the screw on the Russian economy to help ensure he fails in Ukraine. There will be no let-up.”...
In July, food inflation had accelerated to 9.3 per cent as the war in Ukraine and consequent rise in the price of animal feed, fertiliser, wheat and vegetable oils placed mounting pressure on prices.
But it is a very different picture in Moscow where, since the start of the year, the price of food has dropped 11.3 per cent...
Explaining how Russia had managed to buck the trend, strategy specialist Professor Michael Clarke said:... “At some point I believe their economy will be in very bad shape, either next year or the year after... But that depends on the price of energy"...
Tom Tugendhat, the chairman of the Foreign Affairs select committee, said... “We need to be clear that we won’t bow to tyranny and work together to make sure we protect British families from this brutal dictator.”
[Gas] prices skyrocketed after the invasion because Russia is one of the world’s biggest producers of gas.
Continental Europe is heavily reliant on Russian gas, leading to fears of winter blackouts, rationing and factory closures in Germany...
However, there a few small signs that sanctions are finally hitting... One in five [Russians] reported losing almost all their savings, and eight per cent had completely lost their financial cushion.

Either the leading UK politicians and public servants (and corporate journalists) all failed Economics 101 or they are purposely destroying their economy and demociding their citizens.
What happens to consumption of a product when you enact policy for those whom consume the most that they will now get free product to consume?
bbc.com: Energy bills to be capped at £2,500 for typical household (https://www.bbc.com/news/business-62831698)
A typical household energy bill will be capped at £2,500 annually until 2024.
The huge support scheme could cost up to £150bn, but Ms Truss refused to put a figure on it, saying "extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures".
Expect the government scammers to 'fix' this policy after enough time for obvious failure by replacing "price cap" with "energy cap" once they figure out a way to exempt themselves, the rich, and their internationalist puppeteers.

Income tax could be cut as Liz Truss plots a Budget that could see the biggest tax overhaul since the 1980s...
“What we know is people on higher incomes generally pay more tax so when you reduce taxes there is often a disproportionate benefit.”
A source told The Sun that the PM’s quest for growth would trigger a “seismic shift” in policy not seen since the days of Margaret Thatcher.
She is preparing to lift a long-standing cap on bankers’ bonuses and could look at reducing the 45p top rate of tax.
She all but confirmed that Friday would see the National Insurance levy reversed and the corporation tax rise shelved.
Ms Truss said: “Not every measure will be popular.

The British pound crashed to a record low against the US dollar on Monday on growing fears about the stability of UK government finances.
The plunge of nearly 5% to just above $1.03 came during trading in Asia and Australia on Monday and extended a 3.6% dive from Friday, spurring predictions the pound could plunge to parity with the US dollar...
“Serious questions are already being asked about the economic competency of the new government,” said Craig Erlam, senior market analyst at Oanda...
The previous record low for the British pound against the US dollar was 37 years ago on February 25, 1985, when one pound was worth a little over $1.05.

ft.com: Bank of England goes into full crisis management mode (https://www.ft.com/content/59c5779c-db15-4ace-a0cc-f6b8d3b03ba1)
Ministers have tried saying recent financial turbulence was global, but no one in the markets doubted the UK’s problems were the result of £45bn of unfunded tax cuts in chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng’s “mini” Budget (https://www.ft.com/content/52abf1de-10c2-4c15-a0d7-6f3f8f297fbd) last Friday.
The plunge in sterling’s value against the US dollar and spike in government bond yields since Kwarteng’s fiscal statement has thrown prime minister Liz Truss’s economic policy into acute difficulties, and the BoE’s latest QE move (https://www.ft.com/content/756e81d1-b2a6-4580-9054-206386353c4e) [Bank of England launches £65bn move to calm markets] raised further questions.
Throughout her campaign for the Conservative party leadership, Truss blamed the BoE’s post-financial crisis QE programme (https://www.ft.com/content/4bb51f0c-b6c2-4e2f-aac6-dec8c44af46f) — which involved printing money to purchase £875bn of government bonds to boost the economy — for causing inflation.
“Some of the inflation has been caused by increases in the money supply,” Truss said in July, but by September, her government had authorised the BoE to fire up the money printing presses again.

reuters.com: Sunak promises more spending as UK emerges from pandemic (https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/uks-sunak-tries-move-covid-with-new-spending-plans-2021-10-26/)
October 27, 2021
Finance minister Rishi Sunak used a stronger forecast for Britain's post-lockdown economic recovery to promise higher public spending and he vowed to protect households from the sharp rise in inflation that could approach 5% next year...
Sunak announced multi-billion-pound investments in infrastructure, education and other areas to help Prime Minister Boris Johnson meet his "levelling up" promises to voters
In a speech to parliament on Wednesday, he also moved to ease a cost-of-living squeeze for low-earners.
But the plan came with a cost: Britain's budget forecasters said the state's tax take was set to be its biggest since the 1950s, after big tax hikes announced by Sunak in March and September, while public spending was set for its largest sustained share of economic output since the late 1970s.
Sunak said he wanted to return to his Conservative Party's traditional policy of cutting taxes before the next election, due by 2024.
"My mission over the rest of this parliament is for taxes to be going down by the end, not up," Sunak said during an online discussion organised by his Conservative Party after his speech...
Sunak - who racked up Britain's biggest-ever peacetime budget deficit to combat the coronavirus - will now be able to borrow less than previously expected.
The Office for Budget Responsibility projected the deficit for the 2021/22 financial year would be 7.9% of economic output - down from its previous forecast of 10.3% and almost half the size of last year's historic shortfall...
Sunak defied expectations of a spending squeeze, saying all government departments would all get a real-term increase.

So the modern western Stasi is not just busy misdirecting/gasligting, terrorizing and decomposing noticers and critics of western public servants and politicians but the western public servants and politicians themselves?
Seems Britian's PM security services really sent new PM Lizzy into a tizzy. According to Daily Mail's unnamed source.
dailymail.co.uk: Liz Truss's Putin radiation terror: Ex-PM spent final days in No10 'obsessing' with wind charts and weather forecasts as her fears grew that fallout would hit UK if Putin uses nukes in Ukraine, new look inside her doomed tenure reveals (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11369041/The-final-days-ex-premiers-doomed-regime-filled-fears-nuclear-fallout.html)
29 October 2022
When Liz Truss was told, during the dying days of her mayfly Premiership, that the security services were picking up intelligence that Vladimir Putin might use a tactical nuclear weapon in Ukraine it sent a chill down her spine.
The Prime Minister was still adjusting to getting used to a new mobile phone number...
In particular, Ms Truss was told that Putin might explode a weapon in the air above the Black Sea...
As with the Chernobyl accident in 1986, the radiation could pose a threat to Europe if it blew in this direction: as a result, colleagues say Ms Truss became fixated with the weather forecast.
A source said: 'Liz was obsessed with the prevailing wind, watching the forecasts to see if she needed to trigger a Protect and Survive plan.'...
President Zelensky was also told by his intelligence agencies that there was a 'very high' risk Russia might use tactical nuclear weapons...
The source added: ... 'We found her watching the weather forecasts with unusual interest'. Radiation-detecting equipment is scattered across Europe as an early-warning system in the event of an accident or the deliberate use of a nuclear weapon, while cloud-mapping experts share information between countries about radiation direction.
