I decided to start a new thread for the topic after posting about this yesterday in another thread.

Native Canadians (people born in Canada of any ethnicity) are being democided mainly by excessive immigration and below level fertility due to direct policies of the Canadian Federal and Provincial Politicians (of all political parties) and their civil servant staffs.

This need not be about ethnicity at all, but the policy of Canadian Federal and Provincial politicians, their bureaucrats and staffs to prioritize the needs and desires of non-Canadian citizens over those of Canadian citizens of all ethnicity.

Potential new immigrants should also be aware of and recognize that if Canada does not change policy, the children (if any) of new immigrants to Canada will be suffering the same Federal and Provincial government discrimination and democidal action against them as today's Canadian natives.

thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/immigration-policy (https://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/immigration-policy)

Under the British North America Act, constitutional responsibility for immigration is divided between the provincial and federal governments. However, for most of Canada's history, Ottawa has dominated this policy area, although Ontario since the Second World War, Quebec since the mid-1960s, and British Columbia since 2010, have been particularly concerned with immigration. As of 2017, all provinces and some territories have agreements with Ottawa allowing them to select and recruit immigrants based on their social and economic needs...

[T]he Liberal government of Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau passed a new Immigration Act, 1976.

The Act, which took effect in 1978, was a radical break from the past. It established for the first time in law the main objectives of Canada's immigration policy. These included the promotion of Canada's demographic, economic, social, and cultural goals, as well as the priorities of family reunion, diversity, and non-discrimination...

During the 1980s, policy makers instituted a program to encourage business people and entrepreneurs to immigrate to Canada, bringing their managerial skills and financial capital in order to create additional employment opportunities

The most common effect of the "business people and entrepreneurs to immigrate" policy that ended only a few years ago: A foreigner needed to invest $200,000 in residential real-estate to displace a native Canadian family from their home to 'earn' citizenship.

wikipedia.org/wiki/Democide (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democide)

Democide is a term coined by American political scientist Rudolph Rummel to describe "the intentional killing of an unarmed or disarmed person by government agents acting in their authoritative capacity and pursuant to government policy or high command."..

Democide is not necessarily the elimination of entire cultural groups but rather groups within the country that the government feels need to be eradicated for political reasons and due to claimed future threats.

According to Rummel, genocide has three different meanings. The ordinary meaning is murder by government of people due to their national, ethnic, racial or religious group membership. The legal meaning of genocide refers to the international treaty on genocide, the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. This also includes nonlethal acts that in the end eliminate or greatly hinder the group.

Horrible terrible demociding Canadian civil servant bureaucrats and politicians!

nationalpost.com: NP Comment: Public Health Agency of Canada report calls for toppling of 'capitalism and liberty'
The report's all-white authors identified themselves as 'uninvited land occupiers,' before calling for the wholesale 'decolonization' of society in the interest of public health (https://nationalpost.com/opinion/public-health-agency-of-canada-report-calls-for-toppling-of-capitalism-liberty)

Apr 20, 2023
“Fundamental changes in our socioeconomic structures are needed to rebuild our relationships with each other and with our planet,” reads the conclusion of the April 17 report prepared for chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam.

The paper — written by three authors who “identify as white settlers” — also recommended that Canadian public health actions should focus on “decolonization, justice and equity” above all.

The 72-page report, What We Heard: Perspectives on Climate Change and Public Health in Canada (https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/corporate/publications/chief-public-health-officer-reports-state-public-health-canada/state-public-health-canada-2022/what-we-heard-perspectives-climate-change.html), was commissioned to detail the “impacts of climate change on the health and well-being of people living in Canada.” The authors surveyed 30 academics and public health experts for their input...

“If we don’t address capitalism, if we don’t address colonialism, racism, the patriarchy, et cetera, we’re going to tread water for a long time until we eventually drown,” reads one expert quoted in the report...

One respondent delivered a lengthy explanation of why the “core values” of Western society stood in their way, most notably the concept of “liberty and individualism.”

“It advances the individual over the collective, it says ‘as long as I get what I want, bugger you,’ and it leads to a huge number of problems, and it undermines the collective process,” they said.

The report distills the views of 30 Canadian public health officials and academics deemed to “have some understanding of the role of public health systems.”

This includes many already at top levels in the Canadian public health establishment, as well as three Canada Research chairs...

All 30 were asked, either in focus groups or in one-on-one interviews, “what roles should the public health system play and why?”

Ultimately, the report concludes that climate change and poor public health are caused by many of the same things: “White supremacy, capitalism, colonialism and racism.”

The report is clear that its content comes from “uninvited land occupiers.” Yet, the authors say they are sensitive to Indigenous perspectives...

The report also contained the near-unanimous pronouncement that public health agencies should receive more funding, even at the expense of the primary health care system. The reasoning behind that is if public heath has more money to improve society and fight climate change, fewer people will be going to the hospital.
With policies supporting low fertility rate, each generation of native Canadians is 20% eliminated, eradicated aka genocided and democided by its politicians and civil servants.

A report released on Tuesday reveals that Canada’s fertility rate has declined to 1.47 birth per woman, down from 3.94 in 1959.

“Canada’s TFR (Total Fertility Rate)has been below the replacement rate of 2.1 births per women since 1971, meaning that the number of babies being born is not enough for the current population to replace itself,” claims Statistics Canada...

Despite the falling fertility rates in Canada, one controversial advocacy group has been calling on Canadians to have fewer childre (https://tnc.news/2020/09/25/vancouver-billboards-advocate-for-childfree-life-to-reduce-carbon-footprint/)n to reduce their carbon footprint...

“We want to get Canada talking about overpopulation. A surprising number of journalists, elected officials, and the public are unaware the world is overpopulated or uncomfortable talking about it.” said WPB Executive Director Dave Gardner, in a news release.

“[People] don’t realize the solution to overpopulation – and much of the environmental destruction it causes – is simply to embrace the accelerating trend toward freely chosen smaller families.”

December 23, 2021
The story of immigration fills many chapters in the history of Canada—including the most recent one. To support Canada’s post-pandemic recovery and chart a more prosperous future, the Government of Canada set a target of welcoming 401,000 new permanent residents in 2021, as part of the 2021–2023 Immigration Levels Plan.

The Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, today announced that Canada has reached its target and welcomed more than 401,000 new permanent residents in 2021. Surpassing the previous record from 1913, this is the most newcomers in a year in Canadian history.

This historic achievement is particularly significant in the face of the pandemic’s many challenges...

One in 3 Canadian businesses is owned by an immigrant, and 1 in 4 health care workers is a newcomer...

“Last year, we set an ambitious goal. Today, we achieved it. This is a historic moment for our country, as we welcome the highest number of newcomers in one year in our history. I want to thank all the employees in my department, especially our Operations Sector, who made this possible. Canada is built on immigration, and we will continue to welcome the immigrants that Canada needs to succeed. I can’t wait to see the incredible contributions that our 401,000 new neighbours make in communities across the country.”
– The Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship...

By 2036, immigrants will represent up to 30% of Canada’s population, compared with 20.7% in 2011.

Immigration addresses labour shortages in key sectors such as health care. Immigrants make up 37% of pharmacists, 36% of physicians, 39% of dentists, 23% of registered nurses, and 35% of nurse aides and related occupations.

New immigration numbers show Canada has again set a record for permanent residents, welcoming 431,645 new permanent residents in 2022...

The Liberals’ immigration plan envisions steadily increasing immigration levels over the next few years, rising to 500,000 new permanent residents entering the country by 2025.

Caruso said the government should work to get more immigration officers back in the office to further improve results. Before Christmas, the government announced all public servants would have to return to the office a minimum of two days per week.
cbc.ca: Canada's population grew by record 1 million in 2022, spurred by international migration (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/2021/12/canada-welcomes-the-most-immigrants-in-a-single-year-in-its-history.html)

Mar 22, 2023
Total population grew by a record 1.05 million people to 39.57 million in the 12 months to Jan. 1, 2023, and about 96 per cent of the rise was due to international migration, the statistics agency said.

The increase, which helped Canada retain its position as the fastest-growing G7 country, translates to a population growth rate of 2.7 per cent and such a rate would lead to the population doubling in about 26 years, the agency said.

Three-quarters (75%) of those who do not own a home want to own one but can't afford to. Two-thirds (67%) worry about housing prices in their local community, suggesting they believe they might have to move to another community if they decide they want to buy a new home. Seven out of 10 Canadians (71%) who do not own a home worry about saving up for one, including as many as four in ten (39%) who worry a lot about this.
wikipedia.org/wiki/Source-sink_dynamics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Source-sink_dynamics)

Since quality is likely to vary among patches of habitat, it is important to consider how a low quality patch might affect a population. In this model, organisms occupy two patches of habitat. One patch, the source, is a high quality habitat that on average allows the population to increase. The second patch, the sink, is very low quality habitat that, on its own, would not be able to support a population. However, if the excess of individuals produced in the source frequently moves to the sink, the sink population can persist indefinitely. Organisms are generally assumed to be able to distinguish between high and low quality habitat, and to prefer high quality habitat.
