So I was panicked last week that we were headed for collapse because the bond market was collapsing--Bill Holter and Greg Mannarino have always said this was going to start in the debt market. And I was really worried about Bank of America--people were saying that it's the next bank to go, but if that goes down, then that might trigger the derivatives ticking time bomb, which could trigger The Great Taking.

But now, this might change things and mean there's more time. Greg seems to say that money will go into the bond market.

Today's operation by Palestinians was prepared several years in advance. Ammunition depots were set up, assault teams were prepared and an operational game was played with MOSSAD. The attackers did not aim to hold the cities or to engage in direct combat with the Israeli army - they had neither the strength nor the capability to do so. Probably the main objective was to deal Israel a heavy moral blow (achieved), to inflict heavy losses in men and equipment on the IDF (achieved), and to take hostages for negotiation and insurance against a ground operation (achieved).

The next fork in the road is either Israel decides to launch a major ground operation, lasting at least a month, or to enter into negotiations. This is likely to become clear soon.

The world today is in crisis, a liquidity crisis of unimaginable proportions.

The entire world financial system is rapidly becoming illiquid, it is running out of cash. Yes, despite the world today being overrun with ever growing debt, it is running out of cash- fast.

Moreover, the world economy is in a deliberate central bank backed freefall with no end in sight. With that, crude oil prices have also fallen under pressure as of late.

So, how can the problems of system illiquidity and falling crude oil prices be temporarily solved? Just start a new war. Crisis averted! More like pushed off.

For many weeks now, global debt has been swiftly selling off, driving bond yields higher and higher, and this in turn has rattled world stock markets. Instability in the debt market is worsening. As bizarre as it may be, WAR can, at least for a while, introduce stability into the world’s debt market. Stability in the debt market can also stabilize world stock markets.

The entire world banking system itself is today insolvent, something which has been assured via the now ZERO reserve debt-based system. The world financial system itself is in a death spiral as liquidity in the system is evaporating, quickly. Investment banks over the past several years have loaded up BIG TIME on low yielding debt, are now watching their portfolios’ value disappear as yields rise. It’s these same institutions who also have billions of dollars of leveraged bets on the price of crude oil being high! AND THEY NEED A BIG WAY TO KEEP THE PRICE OF CRUDE HIGH as demand falls.

On a macro scale, the issue of liquidity in the system drying up is of course the biggest issue.

In a full-on liquidity crisis ALL CREDIT STOPS, and the system locks up. Access to cash in bank accounts, debit cards, credit cards, inter-business lending, EVERYTHING STOPS.

To keep the world financial system from locking up, an ever-increasing flow of debt MUST be pumped into it… and it cannot ever stop. Debt must be borrowed into the system constantly, and ever more reasons to continue this mechanism MUST be instituted to allow the system to function.

No other endeavor on Earth generates more cash flow into the system in terms of borrowed dollars than WAR, and what better than a Middle East war to keep the price of crude high.

I have warned everyone who has followed my work FOR YEARS that they will do ANYTHING to keep new debt flowing into the system, and to be ready for anything. The escalation and propagation of war, and the start of new wars allows at least temporarily, more liquidity to be pumped into the system. Make no mistake, just as I said when the Russia/Ukraine war started- this is just the beginning.

Hapless Netanyahu Was Totally Unprepared for Attack

The sudden and massive attack unleashed by Hamas against Israel on Saturday, has its roots in a long history of conflict. It may seem to echo past attacks. But it is very different in several key respects.

First, it is by far the most complex attack orchestrated by Hamas against Israel in its history. Secondly, it caught Israel completely unawares and, in many respects, unprepared. In fact, it represents the biggest Israeli intelligence failure in at least half a century. Finally, while Israelis and the world were justifiably outraged at Hamas’ brutality, the anger of millions of Israelis including many close to their security services was also directed at what was seen as the catastrophic mismanagement of Israeli national security by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his administration.

Netanyahu has now promised a “prolonged” assault on Gaza in response. Weeks of bloodshed seem a certainty. Major Middle East diplomatic initiatives including “normalization” negotiations between Israel, Saudi Arabia and the U.S. will very likely be put on hold. And the future of both the Netanyahu government and the Hamas leadership seems very much in doubt.

The brutal Hamas attack, which included the launch of over 2500 missiles, armed incursions into southern Israeli communities, over 200 Israelis dead, and thousands more injured, as well as dozens of kidnappings, has already triggered a major Israeli response including air strikes in Gaza that have produced mass casualties. It is estimated that over 200 Palestinians have died both during the incursion and in Gaza as a consequence of the Israeli response.

Hamas’ assault has been widely condemned by the international community. President Biden, following a conversation Saturday morning with Prime Minister Netanyahu, stated, “The United States unequivocally condemns this appalling assault against Israel by Hamas terrorists from Gaza.” He went on to state that the U.S. will offer “all appropriate means of support to the Government and people of Israel.” In a statement Saturday afternoon he reiterated U.S. support for Israel remains “rock solid” and warned others in the region, presumably Iran and its proxies, not to try to exacerbate the situation.

Israel Strikes Back at Hamas With Operation ‘Swords of Iron’

The reaction of Israel’s Middle East neighbors attempted to suggest a balance in the responsibility for the attacks between the Israelis and the Palestinians. The Saudis, Egyptians, and Turks, for example, all called for both sides to stop the violence and reduce the risks of further escalation. The official Saudi statement said, “Saudi Arabia warned Israel of the possible risks of escalation due to the occupation and deprivation of the Palestinian people of their legitimate rights.”

Russia called for “restraint.” Hezbollah, like Hamas a terrorist group backed by Iran, said they had been in “direct contact” with Palestinian leaders and that the attack was in response to Israel’s “continued occupation” and “a message to those seeking normalization with Israel.” An Iranian spokesperson said that “The forceful response of young Palestinians today to the child-murdering Zionist regime showed that it is more vulnerable than ever and the young Palestinians have the upper hand.”

Netanyahu stated “we are at war” and called up Israel’s military reserves. But even as he did, there was an unprecedented surge of criticism of the Prime Minister that senior Israelis with whom I spoke said was “without precedent.” Veteran reporter Noga Tarnopolsky commented via Twitter that “The Israeli army warned Netanyahu for months that his push for government overhaul put Israel at great risk of a multi-front attack. He dismissed their warnings by accusing the military of “joining the left-wing protestors” against him. His ministers said the army could go to hell.”

Retired Israeli general Amos Gilad said, “The sources of this catastrophe lie in the regime change” (referring to the ascent of Netanyahu’s new ultra-government.) Another retired general asserted via Twitter that Israel was left exposed to the attack because more than two dozen battalions had been transferred from the south to the Palestinian territories on the West Bank.

Israel’s opposition leader Yair Lapid offered to work with Netanyahu in an emergency government of national unity, asserting Israel would be incapable of waging a war with a team as “extreme and dysfunctional” as Netanyahu’s current extremist circle.

Taken together, the timing, volume and severity of the critiques of Netanyahu suggest that as Tarnopolsky concludes that while “Hamas leadership is unlikely to survive what is happening today… it is difficult to imagine how exactly Netanyahu survives this catastrophic failure and the inevitable commission of investigation to follow.”

Predictably, even in a moment like this one in which, in the past, President Biden could have expected bipartisan support for his actions, MAGA world instantly sought to blame the crisis on Biden. Typically, they bolstered their dangerous ideas with lies. Marjorie Taylor Greene, to choose one example, asked “How much of the $6 billion dollars Joe Biden gave back to Iran funded this attack against Israel?”Donald Trump compounded the lie asserting that U.S. taxpayer dollars helped fund the attack.

The U.S. has provided no funds to Iran. The funds to which Greene presumably was referring were those returned to Iran as part of a recent prisoner release agreement. That agreement made it clear that the use of the funds was restricted and was being carefully monitored specifically to ensure they could not in any way be used by Hamas or in any other way misused. But, as we all know, these days fomenting division is far more important to the American right than telling the truth.

To understand the true motivations behind the attack and in particular why it occurred now, is more complicated. First, any such analysis should make it clear that establishing the motivation for a crime does not diminish the fact that it is a crime. What Hamas has done will prove to have been both literally and figuratively indefensible. Nonetheless, as the Hezbollah statement indicated, one rationale for attacking now is that Hamas and their Iranian sponsors were concerned about the progress that was allegedly being made toward a deal “normalizing” Israel-Saudi relations.

Naturally, Iran saw the deal as strengthening their historical adversaries in the region and thus as undesirable. Undoubtedly they not only egged Hamas on but assisted them in preparing for the attacks. The Palestinians on the other hand were increasingly concerned that both the Israelis and the Saudis would effectively throw them under the bus en route to a deal. Netanyahu’s hard right administration would not want to make serious concessions on the issue and it seemed like the Saudis would not demand such concessions.

Israel and Saudi Arabia’s Proposed U.S-Brokered Deal Is No Sure Thing

This was just one factor however, behind the attack. Another of course, is the long history of animosity between the Israelis and the Palestinians, decades of distrust and, it must be acknowledged, the cycle of inhumane treatment of the Palestinian people at the hands of the Israelis and attacks on Israel from terrorist groups within the Palestinian territories. More specifically, however, the actions of the Netanyahu government had become increasingly inflammatory toward Palestinians with the annexation of Palestinian territory a certainty in the months ahead. And, clearly, Netanyahu was so distracted by his own fight for political and legal survival, his judicial coup and his struggle with pro-democracy protestors that this could also have been seen as a time when Israel would have let its guard down.

Parsing the origins of the attack is more difficult than determining what will happen next. Netanyahu’s government will unleash a devastating and protracted assault against Hamas and Gaza. Horrors will ensue. Hamas will likely be devastated. But so too will be innocent civilian bystanders as will be the already inhospitable, overcrowded infrastructure of Gaza. Some portion of the response will be justified. Some portion of it will be overkill.

International debate and condemnation of both sides will follow. Neither will emerge closer to peace. So long as the assaults continue and for a good while after, the prospects of resuming the Saudi-Israeli talks will be dim. Ultimately, the Israelis will likely decapitate much of Hamas’ leadership.

What makes this particular crisis unusual however, is that it is also possible that in the wake of the conflict to come and following an investigation of the origins of the massive intelligence and preparedness failure by the Netanyahu government, the people of Israel may then send their own government packing. Certainly, it is a fate Netanyahu deserves for many, many reasons.

That said, given Saturday’s carnage and that which is certain to follow, I think it is fair to say we should all be more concerned with the fate of the people of Israel and of the Palestinian territories than that of their governments, both of which continue to serve those people abysmally.

So how the hell could a group of Palestinians break into a base and make it all the way to the barracks unnoticed and unheard? I saw the media trying to sell a story that Iranians provided some equipment that jammed the electronically monitored fence, but any disturbance immediately notifies command and control center in Israel’s equivalent of the pentagon and someone would be immediately in touch with the bases’ commanders especially in the middle of the night. But even if that story is true, where were the night guards not to see the combatants approaching and alert everyone? With bases neutralized, there were no one to come to help the civilians in the area… how convenient.

I do agree with readers that it seems a curious thing for Hamas to do as it plays into Israel’s hands. I also agree that there is something else strange about the attack. How did drones and so many rockets, allegedly from Iran, and some say Ukraine, get into the Gaza strip, and how did the Hamas attackers get into Israel?

The Hamas attack has something of 9/11’s flavor. Just as every aspect of the US National Security State failed simultaneously on September 11, 2001, Israel’s security system, including the Iron Dome the US constructed for Israel, simultaneously failed. Mysteriously, the Hamas fighters entered Israel on the ground and through the air and on the sea without being detected. Mysteriously, large quantities of weapons entered Palestine through Israel without being detected. This is too much convenient failure to be believable. It will be interesting to see if anyone in Israel is held accountable for the total security failure. In the US no one was held accountable for the security failures on September 11, which should have told us a lot.


Not knowing, we can but speculate. We have a motive. Israel can now steal the rest of Palestine. Another motive might be that Israel can expand the conflict into a wider war and succeed this time in grabbing the water resources of southern Lebanon. It could even get nastier with Israeli moves against Syria and Iran. Oil prices could go sky high causing world disruption. A victorious war and the end of the Palestinian problem would free Netanyahu from his legal and political problems. There is a lot to think about.


But let’s move on to the security failure that made the attack possible. Why would Netanyahu enable Hamas to attack Israel by standing down Israel security? It seems a nonsensical suggestion, but isn’t as it creates the conditions in which Israel can absorb all that remains of Palestine, just as 9/11 created the conditions for the neoconservatives to launch the wars they had planned in the Middle East.


The difficult question is why would the Palestinians bring on their own destruction by attacking Israel when Hamas has no prospect of defeating Israel? Again, we can only speculate. It could be an Israeli operation from start to finish. Israel infiltrates Hamas, just as the FBI infiltrates Trump supporters and patriotic groups now called domestic terrorists. The Israeli agents play up Israel’s abuse of the Palestinians. Netanyahu helps them along by blowing up the sacred Mosque. The agents come up with an attack plan made possible with weapons from Iran and devices from Iran to jam Israeli security. They go about this carefully, relying on the decades of anger and hurt and the prospect of release from impotence to crowd out Hamas’ reason.


I don’t say these speculations suffice as the explanation. But I would not be surprised if these speculations, if investigated, would prove to be closer to the truth than whatever official narrative emerges.

Yes, Iran has unwisely moved their ADS in that manner in the past.

The smarter way is a week long ADS move from Iran to Syria. Send 8 ADS (4 long range battalions, 4 medium range battalions). Have two groups, one group of 4 stay deployed and active defending themselves and the mobile units moving 4 ADS. The two longer range ones protect the moving ADS/themselves and the two deployed medium range ADS protect the fixed deployed ADS and moving ones too. Once the traveling ADS get near out of protected range of stealth targets (45km), then they set up and deploy and are active, then the ADS that are in the far rear, get mobile and move 45km beyond the active ADS protecting the moving ADS from being targeted.

In addition, bring one Air defense artillery systems or Ya Zahra-3 or other type of short range AD capable of hitting smart bombs for each vehicle sent.

You do this traveling across Iraq and into Syria. Travel for 90 km then set up. The others travel for 90km then set up. Hop scotch into Syria.

Khordad 15 can hit stealth aircraft at 45km so the Israeli F-35s are vulnerable if they get too close.

3rd Khordad/Raad can target smart bombs. 2 battalions would be between 24-48 AD missiles active for defense.

Bring extra missiles for Syria or Lebanon.

I started to get suspicious when I got a substack post from a woman in Israel (I didn't realize at the time--I must have subscribed because of something having to do with covid). Anyway, she had a post up relatively early in the "surprise attack" and I was kind of surprised that she already had photos of lots of the dead/victims--it seemed way too early IMO, like it should have taken longer to come up with that, given all the chaos that was apparently going on. And that immediately reminded me of Sandy Hook and how the very quickly had the photos of the alleged victims in the media.

Then there was the photo of the grandmother, supposedly kidnapped by Hamas, riding in a golf cart, and she looked totally calm and relaxed, like she was out for an afternoon drive in the park. And Hamas guy behind her had a big smile (kind of like duping delight?), like he was out with friends having fun. I would have expect a serious, intense, focused expression instead.

Then I saw this video, and it really reminded me of the psyops hoaxes they have done here, where they tell us there's been mass shooting, but it was just a drill and we just see a bunch of people milling around, with no sense of urgency:

Also, fwiw, since I can't travel these says, I love to watch travel videos where people go all over the place, including Muslim nations (I haven't seen any from Saudi), and they pretty much seem like normal people, very friendly, everyone likes to eat and share food.

Back when I lived in DC area, I did know some Muslims--crossed paths with one creepy guy from Morrocco and maybe creepiness came from his religious beliefs. I knew a Muslim doctor who was a very nice man. And I knew some younger women who liked to go out, very westernized, you would never know they were Muslims, like to go out to nightclubs, drinking---kind of reminded me of friends who called themselves Catholic, but weren't really into their religion.

So, I haven't crossed paths with many, but only one was creepy.

Also, where I worked, I had to meet with a mother and kid from Saudi--both very nice, actually soon after 9/11....And my Jewish colleague made a point of coming up to me after, "did you notice that the boy doesn't respect women? you know those Muslims have no respect for women, etc" The kid was a typical kid for his age- high energy and cheerful. So, jews definitely try to frame them and demonize them whenever they get a chance.
