Here is a consideration. What if the Palestinians turned them loose with a white flag and pointed them to the front? Possibly having a clue as to the outcome just to illustrate the rules of engagement

The only interest the palaztinians could possibly have had in the initial attack would be Jewish hostages. Why would they kill a single Jew? No, to my way of thinking, any Jews that died were collateral damage as a result of intentional Israeli policy.

Unrelated to the OP, I have read many argue the country of Palestine does not exist. My Bible has a map of a country called Palestine during Jesus time inside the front cover.
