An election is close. The inmates of Ward B are opposed by the lunatics in Ward A. There is no doubt about the sanity of any of the electors. They wouldn't be permitted in the asylum if they were sane.
Representatives are selected for each Ward. A debate happens. The representative for Ward B has to hold firmly on the podium to keep from falling over. The representative for Ward A requested less orange in his makeup.
Substantive realities from each Ward were presented in the hopes that electors would find greener fields by jumping the fence to the other team. Ward B touted better healthcare, women concerns and student debt. Ward A bespoke better times when they possessed what polite society calls "sanity".
