According to Andrei Kaprin, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Oncologist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and Director General of the National Medical Research Center of Radiology, the development of a mRNA vaccine against cancer for each patient will cost the state about 300 thousand rubles.
It should be provided free of charge for patients.
"All oncological drugs, especially in the early stages of market entry, such as immunopreparations, were initially very expensive. We hope that this drug will not become an exceptional medicine.
After the establishment of mass production technology, we plan that the cost for the state will be about 300 thousand rubles, and for patients it will certainly be free," Kaprin said on Radio Russia on Saturday.
