Two teenagers stumbled upon a dead body while attending an Easter egg hunt in Beaverdale Park in Des Moines on Saturday morning.
More than 100 children were in the west-side park at 3301 Adams St. for an annual neighborhood Easter egg hunt when the body of an adult male was found in the woods around 10:20 a.m., police said.
But few of the youngsters knew of the older kids' grisly discovery about 300 yards from the egg hunt.
