As I look through the haze of the closure of GIM etc., I am slowly remembering that there was a news article last week about a Fed meeting this week to address interest rates.

from looking at CNN's Fed page, they say the next regular scheduled meeting is in 3 weeks, April 27 - 28, 2010.
but I could have sworn I saw an article about a Fed meeting this week.
In the past this has always been associated with a downtick and an additional buying opportunity.
But who knows what will happen ?! 8)
