Gold is acting like a CURRENCY now -
SOON the real PEOPLES' MONEY - named SILVER will TAKE off
especially NOW that the CAT's out of the bag via the CFTC hearings
and they were exposed that they HOLD silver contracts over 100 TIMES the physical contracts SHORT
and NAKED as JAYBIRDS (meaning they are BARE A$$ET Naked for product)
Let them JERKS try to BUY BACK the 100 times the 200 MILLION ounces they hold short and NOT backed - that'll cause silver to really rise:
did I say 100 times $18.00 NAH ... but who knows...right?

This what I saved 09-04-2009 First I would like to thank Jim! For those that bash Jim that is your right. I'am starting this thread to track his calls.Today is Sept.04.2009 that makes 497 days until Jan.14.2011. So here are the numbers 1000,1024,1089,1125,1156,1296,1369,1444,1521,1600, 1681,and then Alf's numbers. How many days until 1000 ? Let's track and find out I will do this for all numbers .When one number falls I will restart the day counter until the next number is reached. Enjoy and lets have fun watching them fall .......................... Each number has a (roughly) 50 day avg. to fall.............................. 09-11-2009 Well if Crimex holds here that took 7 days to reach a $1000 close. So with the 50 day avg per number gold has 93 days to reach $1024. One down nine to go if she holds. Sept.11.2009 ................................ 10-06-2009 $1024 should hold for a close . That took 25 days. 118 days to go for $1089. Oct.06 2009..................11-04-2009 It took 29 days to 1089 from 1024; 21 weekdays;http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i...to+nov+04+2009 61 days have past since the start of the thread or 43 weekdays .................. 11-23-2009 Well I guess we can knock off $1156. From $1089 it took 1 month 17 days, 6 weeks and 6 days, 48 days, 34 weekdays( or 2* 17.2 armstrong cycle);Since the start of the thread we have this http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i...to+nov+23+2009 ...............................

Giving you gold price objectives has not proved in the past to be in your best interest as we are read by both sides of the gold market spectrum.

- $1225
- $1296
- $1369

The last bull market saw Gold run by a factor of 25. $35 was a fixed price so any comparisons might be futile. 25 times 250 is a bit over 6K. Anything over 10K is anarchy. For profits sake I would take 5K. I really don't want the whole system to fall down around our ears. That wouldn't be good for anyone.

Alf refuses to give his levels as he is too concerned that those who know them will attempt to trade them, resulting in their being out of position as an upward explosion takes place.
Extra credit to anyone who's inclined to figure out the equation. Go ahead and try. It's not that hard. But the real question is WHY this particular equation. ;)

Sinclair knows what he's talking about, but it's not what people think. And there's A LOT about him people don't know. For example, did you know he's a Notre Dame alumnus? That's just the fluff. Read between the lines, and be skeptical. Good info, but he has an agenda, too.

There's a whole lot about Sinclair that doesn't make any sense. His father was a Seligman yet his name is Sinclair?

you kind of gave it away with 1600. as in 40 x 40. as in, a simple parabola.
32 x 32 = 1024
33 x 33 = 1089
34 x 34 = 1156
35 x 35 = 1225 - Market Close Friday May 14, 2010
36 x 36 = 1296 - Market Close Friday June 14, 2010
37 x 37 = 1369 - July
38 x 38 = 1444 - August
39 x 39 = 1521 - September
40 x 40 = 1600 - October
41 x 41 = 1681 - November
continuing ~
42 x 42 ~ 1764 - December
43 x 43 ~ 1849 - January 2010.
44 x 44 ~ 1936
45 x 45 ~ 2025

"Gold heading to $1800? The Crisis in Europe and the Future"
I'm not sure if it's Merk or Turk, but one of them makes a very reasoned argument for $1800 end of the year.
I think sometimes what analyses like these really show is that human beings like to model things and study patterns. it could be linear, it could be parabolic.
the main thing is, human beings like to print money, so gold is going up.
and Uncle Sam is going to try very hard to get a piece of the action.

glad i could help !
what gave it away was the $1521 - $1600 - $1681 sequence.
$1521 + $39 + $40 = $1600
$1600 + $40 + $41 = $1681

4 weeks 5 days or 33 days or 23 weekdays have past since taking 1156. jim has 272 days left. Crimex close above 1225. The 6 remaining numbers have 45.3 day avg. So the next number should fall before June 25.

So what’s the upside?
As regular readers of my report know, I believe gold moves in increments of $25, sometimes multiple $25 increments. Therefore, the $1250 level, where gold traded today was one of my first new upside targets. If prices don’t stall here, the next targets are $1275 and $1300 an ounce.
Even numbers like $1300 can produce stall points. Think back to the last rally high in gold of $1226.4 in June Gold, made the week of December 4, 2009. Prices stalled there and fell as low as $1045 which occurred the first week of February, 2010. Now the market is up to new high.

So far it has had an amazing run, but I think it is nearly impossible that gold could continue like this until January without a pullback, I think the pullback will occur before 1650..

Truly not wishing to appear argumentative as that is not my perspective, please share what you consider a pullback, and how your use of the term may or may not differ from "price swings/price volatility"
It is my understanding a pullback would be to a "prior price point" simply by definition.
Are you looking to initiate a position?
Add to a position?
Or some other strategy?

Thank you beefsteak, good idea to bring in definitions to the mumbo jumbo we speak. A pullback would be a correction of 10% or more, maybe correction is a better word for it. Personally I think we will see the pullback around 1450, down to around 1250, but I am very uncertain of it, the thing about these ultra-bullish times we are in right now is that prices could accelerate upwards from here, and the peak is very difficult to pinpoint, I will probably sell some PMs at 1450 gold, and price could very well be at 1600 2 weeks later, but even in that case gold will go down to regroup at 1250 in a month or two, which would be my buying back point. I am fortunate to live in Istanbul, with very small spreads between buy and sell (less than 2%), so I don't deal in futures, only physical. Probably I will be selling mostly silver granule, which has less SHTF value than gold coins/bars, and I would like to see a price around $26-27 for my granule at gold $1450...

Time for Sinclair to throw in the towel or will WWIII come and save his day?
Still holding on to my silver granule. Gold hasn't reached 1450 yet, and it has held up excellently despite recent dollar strength vs other fiat, Euro primarily... I think we can see a hundred dollar or so up the next couple of weeks on gold, but surely 250 must be impossible? What say you?
