My Dad and Grandpa got me hooked on collecting Morgans at a young age.

After all these years I'm still partial to them.

What say you all?

I like Morgans, but am partial to Peace dollars. Fewer years and marks makes it easier for me to keep track. :)

although i don't "collect" any of these coins, my favorite looking coin by far is the peace dollar

Got a couple common years (1921 I believe)

I like my treasure chest to be diverse including everything from Morgans to Maple Leafs and Kookaburras but if I had to settle on just one, I would go for the Australian Kookaburras.

There was a short time that I used to collect slabbed Morgan Dollars but that did not last very long and I ended up losing all of my slabbed Morgan silver dollars to a '70's silver art bar "addiction". :)

Why no Susan B's or the new gold colored ones? Probably cause their not real money eh?

I guess it should not come as a surprise to most people here but I love to collect '70's silver art bars. ;D

I have been seriously collecting them since August 2008.

Peace dollars are my favorite to collect, but I like to collect dollar coins in general with the exception of Susan B's and the nordic gold dollars.

Can you imagine a modern dollar with "Peace" on it?

Yes. It would be right after the word "No".

I'd be remiss not to mention that 1921 is not a common year for Peace Dollars, and if it's a high relief strike, could be worth quite a bit.

Beware of fake Morgans. They're often easy to spot, but they're everywhere.

I guess it's a good thing that all my Morgan dollars are from waaaaaay back when I collected them as a kid.
