Don't let anybody fool you... or whatever.
A small anecdotal from work....
I'm employed by an international technology company. We just had a major announcement from the company that they were
changing the terms of our contract in a seriously negative way. Longer hours, less holiday, less paid sick term, much less redundancy compensation and even the ability to send workers home unpaid when business is slow.
The thing was handled badly because initially we only found out second hand from members of the union which had passed on the information. It didn't strike me until later the significance of the day the company made the announcement. You guessed it... April 1st.
Anyone else get a nasty April 1st surprise, apart from that which shall not be mentioned in general discussion?
