Just pointing this out to show that Vatican has embraced mythology since its inception... the pine cone symbolizes the perfection in Nature... so why does it pop up in the Mesopotamian culture?

Yes and all the religions have succeded in seperating man from God,until we just end up with an idea of what God is as something out there seperate from us.

This is nonsense and has lead to confusion and chaos in the world today.

The main aim of religion is to control large numbers of people and this could be called having power over the populace.

Add fluoride to the water(the religions dont seem to mind) and we end up with mind controlled zombies with little hope of spiritual enlightenment.

So in this situation we then need a church ect to lead us because we sure cant do it ourselves.
