It looks like Denninger of TickerForum fame is doing a lockdown on his site - he is a flaming Narcissist with a passionate hatred for gold, but there are some really smart people who post there, and his site has always been great for breaking news stories.
He's had temper tantrums in the past where he locks down the forums (so you can't read the threads) to non-donors, but now claims that the forum will only remain open to non-donors after 8 pm weekdays and weekends. I have no objection to donating to keep good sites operating, but I hate to feed already massive egos.
Oh well. Is there something in the air that's causing great forums to disintegrate or what?

I maintain a few forums and it can be stressful. Traffic, maintenance, and moderation are a PITA. I throw on adsense, fire off a few links, and then sit back and watch. If you build it (and it is good) then they will come. If not, oh well, move on.

He does this about every six months. Nothing new.
He banned me after 3 posts, after I tore up his horrible TA.

The war on the internet is on, friend. Every forum containing truth is infiltrated by government employed shills.

I am not sorry for being banned from a forum but for leaving behind those who I call "friends".......if a purple heart were given for being banned I would by now have about fifteen of them........being banned from GIM1 deserves a purple heart and a silver star hahahahahahaha.
