One of our hens has been been sitting on eggs for a couple weeks now.
Last year we moved a couple brooding hens to our aviary. This time we are going to let this hen stay in the hen house till they hatch.

Cause she is mean a heck and didn't want to move!

Hopefully the chicks will be hatching in about a week. and we will move them with the hen into the aviary.
We had to put a cage in front of her nest (with food and water)to keep the other hens from laying eggs in there with her. If we didn't she would have way too many eggs to sit on.
Hopefully, I will have pics of the new chicks in a couple weeks (fingers crossed)
