is anyone in to model rockets?

i used to buy estes ones when i was a kid. thinking of buying a kit or something. sounds like good clean fun i can do with the kids.

Yeah, i did the Estes thing many years ago. Even had a 35mm camera. I still have a box of parts I've saved in case the urge strikes me again. Sometimes wished I lived in New Mexico(?) where they play with the really big rockets - have to get launch clearance. :rocket_hor

When my sons were young we used to build rockets together and shoot them off. It was alot of fun.

Get an Estes Wizard, or the Yankee.

Two rockets each of which when you load out with a C6 or so motor, you'll never see again!
