i bought a 2 gram UBS gold bar from apmex last week for $80. showed up today.
it still has the old sticker on it from when apmex had it for sale in the store a few years back: $7.99.

upon reflection, even at $250 gold or whatever, there is no way they could have sold a 2 gram bar for $8. it must be a mistake.

Maybe it's old stock - 1970s bar.

Your time machine is NOW... 10 years from now, you'll MARVEL that just a few years earlier, gold was less than $1,200 per ounce! BUY at this on-sale price while you still can!

If you can, post a pic - those old generic bars and rounds are very cool.
