I removed most of my money from the bank today. Unfortunately, I then handed it to the .gov.

Why? Just file an extension. Keep your money as long as possible and starve the beast as much as possible.

Extension does not get you off the hook for paying what you owe. You get penalties and interest if don't pay up. There is no escape.
