KANSAS CITY, Mo. --
Kansas City Police Chief Jim Corwin received a briefing Monday after a large disturbance on the Country Club Plaza Saturday night.

Corwin said on his blog that an estimated 700 to 900 juveniles were on the Plaza by 9 p.m. that night. The gathering was posted through the social network Web site Facebook.

This is the second of two Saturdays in a row that large groups of young teens have been spotted roaming the area. Monday, city and police officials met with representatives of Highwood Property, which owns the Plaza. They're seeking a way to stop future incidents.

Just as a point of notice... I don't care what color the aminals are. When they mob up like this to attack anyone who happens to be unfortunate enough to be around them, they make themselves the target of authority exercising deadly force.
