I haven't had any problem with the Bulgarian drums. These look like the wind up Bulgarian drums (Chinese copis). I heard that some have had minor problems with the Romanian drums (non-wind up) but I haven't experienced any problems myself.

With the XD subcompact, are you looking at 13 roundsand maybe +1 for that? That is a lot of rounds for a small pistol. I was wondering how subcompact the XD is compared to other sub compacts. It looks thicker.

Hickok45 has a video going over this and the Glock 27 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gk6zDGFqhgQ). Says 9 rounds, Different calibre though I think. I like em. Spent a bit of time with it's croatian cousin. I would have one of either. #3 on my list. Probably means won't own one in this country. After #2 it gets pretty difficult.
