It just hit me about the Patriot Act

I've always known the Patriot Act was directed against us. In the past, I cynically believed they called it that to try to gin patriot support.

Now I think there was a more sinister reason. The Patriot Act was named just that because it's ultimately to be directed against Patriots and I'm sure there is some glee with TPTB that they tell got to put that out in the open under our noses.

I'm sure some of you figured it out before but...

I figured that out a few years ago. The reason for the name "Patriot Act" just struck me. You guys are rubbing off on me with the hidden in plain sight. :)

in a post yesterday i wrote that i went to a tire store to have a tire repaired on my truck and i was ask for phone number and then i ask the guy why he needed my p number and he said because of the Patriot Act . then i got piss , then the guy almost ask me to leave ... nothing big ... but i didnt like the taste of being ask my phone number to have a tire repaired then told it because of the Patriot Act ... it just me but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth
