This seems like a great idea for SHTF situations. Has anyone here heard of the Life Saver Bottle?

I remember reading about this a couple years back, but it obviously like most thinks got pushed to the back of my mind. It sure is a handy little device having it all in one and not needing to carry a hundred and one components; in addition they also make a Jerry can version as well. With that said you’ll need to stock up on filters as they only last for 4000 or 6000 liters depending on filter type. Shelf life is 3 years unused 5 once used.

For further reading we have the main page (http://www.lifesaversystems.com/index.html), jerry can specs (http://www.lifesaversystems.com/jerrytech.html), bottle specs (http://www.lifesaversystems.com/techinfo.html)and the big one the water quality test (http://www.lifesaversystems.com/LSHTM.pdf)

What a great idea for anyone living or visiting in a location that lacks clean water. Thanks for the links.
